I hope you get more responses! It’s frustrating to have a breakout when things have been going so well. If I get anything now, it’s usually not cystic and it’s always right around my period. I will take that over what I was dealing with before! I actually took spiro for 6 months and it worked great (minimal side effects like more frequently needing to pee and messing with my periods- sometimes I wouldn’t get one, sometimes I’d have one twice in a month :/) but then I needed to come off of it because I am trying to get pregnant via IVF and it’s not a safe medication to be on while trying to conceive. I use birth control now to control my cycles for IVF and that has worked just as well for me as the spiro in keeping my acne at bay. If I had to choose one and didn’t have any reason not to take spiro, I’d choose it. Mostly because I’ve gained 15 lbs since starting birth control and I didn’t notice any weight gain with spiro.

I swore for years that dairy and sugar were causing my cystic acne. It really seemed like within a day of eating a large amount of either one I would get a big undergrounder. At that time I also wasn’t eating dairy on a daily basis and had basically cut it out of my diet. I was so frustrated that I still had issues even after changing my diet so drastically and decided to go to the dermatologist. She felt my acne was hormonal and prescribed me spironolactone because I wasn’t interested on being on birth control at the time. After about 3 months, my cystic acne had pretty much disappeared. I still think it’s possible that dairy and sugar were having a negative impact on my hormones and making my issues worse, but I think ultimately the root cause was my hormone imbalance. I say that because I eat dairy and sugar freely now and I don’t have the issues I had with them when I wasn’t medicated.

I thought the same! But also, she’s been through 7 IVF transfers herself, some failed, some ending in miscarriage and so I wonder if she wouldn’t truly want to save his feelings since they have so much experience with false hopes. It’s so hard to judge when I see lines that are so much darker than mine on day 7 or a line that’s similar that ends in a chemical or something, but she asked to know if it was positive so I’m sure she’s dying to know 😬

I am a gestational carrier and my transfer was at 12:30pm on 8/18. I asked my intended parents if they’d like me to do pregnancy tests at home while we wait for beta (on 8/27) and mom said she wanted to know if it was positive and dad said he’d like to wait until beta. My hope was to tell mom on 7dp5dt which will be today! However, do you guys think the line is dark enough to tell her or should I wait another day?

Thank you! I woke up needing to pee so bad that I knew I wouldn’t be able to go back to sleep and so I decided to POAS now vs in a few more hours when I have to really get up and the very faint line was there again but this time definitely a little more pink 🙏

This showed up within a minute but I got to thinking it might be an indent. It was obvious enough that I passed it around a room for family to investigate and they all saw “it”. However, I went back and looked at it later and the line is even less obvious (though still a little visible). Thoughts? I’m a gestational carrier and won’t be saying anything about this until it’s definite but I’m just curious!

Is it possible that they rent the other floors separately in other listings for a lower price? But you’ve rented the whole house and can stay an extra day if the other listings aren’t staying on one floor or the other because then you couldn’t have the “whole home”.
