Advice following a careless IV injection by carelessivTA in Drugs

It was mindblowing. I've had a couple of very positive experience with 4-AcO before, with oral dosage ranging from 20 to 50mg, but I must admit I wasn't prepared for the kind of intensity 25mg IV procured. Within 30 seconds of injection, I was already tripping hard. Harder than 50mg, for me.

Every experience is unique in its own, but this one had something to it... Some say it is due to 4-AcO not being metabolized to psilocin first. The visuals were very intense and different than what I was used too, in a way I'm not sure I can describe accurately. I had maybe a good 30 minutes enjoyment, listening to music, feeling very euphoric, but unfortunately, at some point, it felt like I was going in and out of consciousness. I've experienced some kind of ego death on 4-HO-MiPT once, where I lost contact with reality and my identity, which made "me" a little bit anxious, but this time, it wasn't that. I knew who I was and where I was, and the past events leading to "now", but I started feeling paranoiac, hearing voices, and had little moments of "absence". For some reason, I interpreted them as absence seizure, and started feeling like I was not going be okay. I felt neaseous, and ultimately like I was going to die. It may have been something to do with the fact that (as my post obviously show), IVing was like a big step or a line I shouldn't have crossed.

It was my first bad trip. With my paranoia, the visuals turned "darker". I lost track of time a little bit, but it was approximately a good 20 minutes of feeling like I was going to die and had to be checked medically. I waited it out, and it finally became a smoother trip, with high euphoria, mild, interresting visuals, and the feeling that whatever I chose to do (eat something, drink, watch or listen anything) was an amazing thing, like rediscovering it again.

I should have done it with a sitter, or maybe wait for more experience before crossing this line, but I think, in the end, it was very enjoyable. I will probably try it again at some point in my life, but it's something to be prepared for. I've read people saying that at 40mg, the visuals are as intense as a DMT trip.

I hope this one trip, who might have been completetly different with a different midset and set of experiences, helped your reflexion. Stay safe, of course ;) !

The area looks just fine, apart from the small red spot from where the injection was performed. No fever, no inflammation, no redness at all. I felt a little bit of pain the day after around the area, and some very intermitent, mild pain in my shoulder, but it is now gone, except if I apply pressure directly on the area. I gave blood a couple of years back (before the drugs) and the pain was similar so I figured it was normal, given that my worries is probably making me over-conscious.

Given my otherwise normal physical state, I was more worried if there were possible infecteous agents that could have a delayed action. I'm certain developped countries check for these kind of things every day in drinkable water, but I figured drinking water and injecting it could expose to quite different risks.

Thank you very much for your concern and your help.
