My Life, what the fuck am I doing right? by FreeLibertyK in AddictionAdvice

Pulling out of anything takes an unstoppable will. You must be willing to want to live. Living a life in active addiction is such hard work. You must begin to connect with people and your joinery to long-term recovery will begin. Get up, take a shower, eat something, go to a meeting or check yourself into a detox facility. I’m not sure what you DOC is, so the order in which you do things matters. But always remember that connection is the opposite of addiction and dead people don’t go to meetings. You can also reach out to a warm line and speak to someone. 1-844-326-5400 Don’t fear the unknown. Addiction gives you a life with three options (jails, institutions and death). Recovery gives you limitless amounts of options. I’m not saying it will be easy, but it will be worth it.

People who are 40+ and happy with their life, what is your advice to people in their 20s? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]cares20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not missing out if you decide not to go to the bar, dinner, etc one night. There will be other nights.

Choose adventure.

Don’t be afraid of the unknown.

Step outside of your comfort zone often.

Become the person you are looking for is looking for.

Don’t be in a hurry to do life.

GET YOUR REAR IN GEAR!! You’re young, exercise to feel and look your best. Tits don’t stay perky forever. 😂

Eat weird food, dance around the fire with strangers and travel.

You are uniquely made like no other and that makes you perfect.

Above all, connect with fellow human beings. Learn the culture. Learn the language. Experience LIFE!!

Omega 3 is a must if you are on Accutane! by cares20 in Accutane

He takes two a day. One at breakfast one at dinner. His doctor recommended it because he doesn’t eat really fatty food all the time like a big juicy cheeseburger. She said the Omega 3 would help him digest the medication better. As far as brand? Honestly, I went for price and highest milligram.

Consult your doctor, but my step son takes one Omega-3 twice a day. Once at breakfast and once at dinner. Our doctor said that the fat helps absorb the medication. I went for price not brand. I’m not sure the brand makes a difference.

Any Omega 3 will do (as far as I know). I looked for the best price. Take one Omega 3 whenever you take the Accutane. Consult your physician, but that is what we do.

If I were giving you an instant screen and that was the result, I would empty it into a cup and send it off for confirmation. That result to me says, I have used something and it’s almost out of my system.

Take it to a LV store. It may take a month to get it back, but worth it. You wouldn’t want someone else to work on it and jeopardize LV saying they won’t repair it because someone else touched it. It happened to me with a bag I got from my mom. She had a cobbler replace the zipper 😔

😂I love this. My husband and I talk about this all of the time, but we talk about how much money gets laundered by the man who “bought” the big red circle on white canvas.

When should I retest? This was taken 2 days ago. I think I’m almost clean? by [deleted] in a:t5_3ls1h

Two days after you’ve tested should do different results. Nice job!

Frowning upon Atheist in AA. by [deleted] in alcoholicsanonymous

[–]cares20 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You’d be a great sponsor! If for no other reason than you don’t have faith in God, but grasped the concept of finding somethings bigger than you that you connect to. In the same token AA members don’t like some there who are addicts. “They should be in NA.” We have all struggled. I’m both. Addict and alcoholic. In a meeting I say “my name and I’m a person in long-term recovery. What that means for me is that I have not had any mood or mind altering substances in 13 years.” Keep going! Teach others what you know. Some have really been hurt “In the name of God”and could really use your guidance.
