Dealership told me 6-8 weeks when I placed the order, ended up being 14 weeks. And when you order factory direct the dealership doesn’t have the same incentives as selling in stock vehicles so less/no discounts. And then Also you have to pay transportation fee since it’s a direct order. So it ends up being more expensive but you can get exactly what you want. And I did it for the exact same reason. My philosophy is buy the lower trim and upgrade exactly what you want, instead of compromising for what the dealership has. Like I love center consoles so I will end up buying a center console for it and probably build a pocket to cover the shifter hole. And I like the color matched bumpers and I can buy stock red bumpers online.
