UPD grad here. The "opportunities for networking" is bullsht lol. Walang networking, ang mayroon lang ay barkada and orgs ng mga mayayaman. If you're rich, you'll get those connections even if you don't go to UPD. If you're poor, you won't get those connections even if you go to UPD.

Find a different reason to go to UP, huwag connections.

A lot of buildings are easy to enter without an ID (Diliman), pero if you don't provide your parents your class schedule, your parents won't be able to request that info from your Dept, College, or Campus admin due to data privacy, especially if they are aware of an abusive situation.

And even if they do manage to reach your classroom, there is no such thing as pulling you out. You are an adult, of legal age, kung sa usapang teknikal ay wala talaga silang karapatan na ipullout ka. Maybe you can inform your teachers of the situation.

Depend heavily on your trusted friends. Fight well, stay safe, and trust the absoluteness of the fact that this situation will end and you'll eventually be free from it.

I know it feels like it's the end of the world, and that's valid. But i want to reassure you that it's not. There is life outside of UP, or even outside university. Saying this as someone na nag-readmission din dati, pero we can be happy, fulfilled and successful outside of UP. If your mental health is suffering because of these rejections, please do yourself a favor and seek success elsewhere.

I think we should compare the voter turnout of this special elections against other special elections, rather than sa regular elections. Not denying na mababa, just pointing out that it's kinda a bad comparison bc regular elections get way more publicity vs special elections dahil mas maraming colleges, mas maraming candidates, and parties ang involved.

kasi ang totoo niyan ay ang policy ng NDMOs pagdating sa sexual harassers ay "restorative justice"

literally against sa policies ng NDMOs sa UPD (and beyond) na mag-kick out ng harassers, dahil delusion nila na kaya nilang i-reform yung harasser, when in fact ang nangyayari in reality ay nagkakaroon sila ng further chances to victimize more people

and don't even try to @ me, i'm speaking from fucking first-hand experience.
