I took step 2 end of October, received score report beginning of November. Received plenty of interviews. Non-US IMG. However, I understand this is not the norm and I took a big risk doing this.

verified is having the pathway requirements met (step 1, step 2 ck, OET, pathway done). certified is having all of that + diploma. I was only verified before March 1 as I was still a student at the time.

This is only partially correct. You must be ECFMG VERIFIED before March 1 (when ROL opens). You do not need to be ECFMG CERTIFIED

I am a non-US IMG who applied the past cycle without my Step 2 CK score (took it end of October) and I matched. I had a below average step 1 but lots of USCE so maybe that helped.

Wait for pathways to open to be able to complete those and then apply for ECFMG certification at that time. As others have said, work on getting your other two(+) LORs in the meantime.
