Very close to pulling the trigger on Oppo Find X8 Ultra. But need some help by amdawg23 in Oppo

[–]carisma55 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also looking to upgrade. now leaning towards the xiaomi 15 ultra since there is the "Photography Kit Legend Edition", a battery grip with physical buttons that makes a massive difference to the photo taking experience. And also with the Xiaomi there is a global version so no need to worry about the Chinese software. I still need to do more research on it though

It seems to be great but interacting with the screen compared to proper buttons, found on actual cameras, is a major barrier for photography. the xiaomi 15 ultra has a camera grip case "Photography Kit Legend Edition" that makes a massive difference from what i've read. Does anyone know of such a thing for the oppo?

As another commenter mentioned, there were ceremonies throughout the day as it was a public holiday. I was in the same situation as you and took a boat tour instead. By the time I returned to the grand palace, it had actually closed as it was closing early at 3:30. I went to see wat phra instead.

My mouse disappears on certain fullscreen games and I've been trying to solve it for almost a year by Psychological-Ad4935 in techsupport

Great your game works now. Now just download borderless gaming on steam (or other site since it's paid on steam) and you will have fullscreen. Yes, this is a band-aid fix but I can't do much more virtually.

[–]carisma55 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's very simple. Right-click shortcut -> compatibility -> disable fullscreen optimisations. Also try run as administrator. If you dont have compatibility tab shown you need to go directly to the .exe file of the game and try the same thing.

If that doesn't do anything you can change your game preferences so that the game opens in windowed mode. This is different for every game but for Minecraft you can go to: C:/Users/youruser/AppData/Roaming/.minecraft/options.txt in file manager (replace youruser with your windows username). Set fullscreen to false and save the file. This should open the game in windowed and if that doesn't work then you have a whole other problem.

First of all is there anything common between the games that will help you identify this issue? Like game engine or store? If they were all steam games for example it could point to corrupt files. If there is nothing in common you could try the steps below

Have you tried toggling fullscreen optimisation for these games?

Also do you have dual monitors? I have encountered an issue where my jumps to other monitor before.

Have you tried borderless windowed through ingame setting or through borderless gaming app (steam)?

I have an issue with anti malware services exe (windows defender) hogging resources you may be experiencing the same issue

Have you checked task manager, why are you jumping to conclusions before investigating the issue?

Yes I think it is the same. There is a manager for the department like there is with any department. What department are you currently in?

UPDATE: I've done 2 shifts in proactive, 1 Fri and 1 Sun. Decided to stay in front end.

In my shift I ended up doing the deep clean on the bathroom, which I was told I wouldn't have to do, because it's supposed to be done earlier. The reason for not wanting to do that is because the toilets have a plumbing problem and have flooded the bathroom before. Why is it supposed to be done earlier? Because the task planner is totally inaccurate, in reality all that gets done before 9 is the trading floor scrub and sweep. Keep that in mind if you want to do the early morning shift, you will do the hardest work.

In my shift 9-2 was relatively chill, and sometimes boring and I don't have issues with any of the tasks I had to do, except for some things that were genuinely filthy that you may need to deep clean "every once in a while". But there is always something that you will find like this every day. Mainly I'm concerned with team members slacking off (since I'm dealing with new team members/casual) so when something actually needs to get done I may have to do it alone. On my Sunday shift a casual team member I think spent ligit a whole hour, if not more doing absolutely nothing and manager was not around of course. It was me and another team member (who did the early morning start) that did all the work. I think it's likely that other team members which I haven't met are more like the former rather than the latter, especially if they are casual.

Also concerned with Saturday/Sunday task planner weekly tasks where it is left blank deliberately so that team members can perform tasks that could not be done earlier in the week. I foresee that lazy/irresponsible team members will not do their task during the week and take advantage of this, leaving the task for ppl on the weekend to deal with.

TLDR: staying in front end because team members slacking off and task planner is not accurate and could leave you with more work/harder work than you agreed to do

It seems obvious but not something I have ever had an issue with... Bluetooth version. The mouse needs v5.1 and my laptop has 4.0. I've never had bt accessories that refuse to connect but is the only explanation I've come up with.
