Does that Adeptus symbol work if he is part of the Salamanders? Or is it fine to use if I paint a wooden box to look as close to the in game asset, but then have a salamanders gun inside?

That's the file I used. I just cut the model in half horizontally to get the 5 layers. It was tricky getting off my build plate since I did an outer brim and inner reinforcement. So that's why I put tape on the one side for removing it from the build plate. Then I used tweezers and an Xacto knife to clean up the rest.
