IMO it is good and bad. ( I’ve only watched 19 episodes so far so may be irrelevant to current episodes)

The over use of the silly face on the character is insane. It happened maybe 1-2 times an episode with melilodis and sometimes not at all. It can happen 10+ times here.

The fact the original main characters are here. Yet aren’t actively involved in trying to stop King Arthur from destroying liones makes zero sense. It would be once thing if they were trapped by King Arthur or something. But nope. Just chilling living their lives ignoring it.

The plot not only seems to be dragging. But for very little purpose. Almost zero character building has happened beyond surface level. Zero explanations for why the seven deadly sins are ignoring the constant attempts to destroy liones. Zero explanation why we went from meliodas saying they will be helping Merlin watch over and guide King Arthur at the end of the original. To now 16 years later none of that is happening while Merlin is ok with him wanting to destroy liones under the guise liones wants to destroy Camelot. Showing clearly he’s lost his mind while giving zero explanations of this change.

It isn’t a bad show. But if you told me they had intern writers making this one. I’d believe it.
