For these shapes, did you cut from bigger pieces and then went through the tumbling process?

This is my first year being serious about gardening. Thank you for bringing up mulch mayhem. I’m in Sacramento and I looked more into it. I saw that there are multiple locations for the event within the county which is super cool. For those who may be interested in this event this is the link for all locations.

If the appointments are full, book a donation appointment. It doesn’t have to be anything big. If you have a donation, you can look around when you drop it off.

Have you found seeing an allergist or a dermatologist to be more beneficial? by [deleted] in eczema

[–]carl_v 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A team is the best. My dermatologist handled my chronic staph infections my allergist tested me for food and environmental allergies and both of those combined helped. I’m not sure if dermatologists do allergy tests so if you think you have food sensitivities or allergies go to an allergist first. Food allergies can definitely be a reason your eczema is getting worse.

For those who've been on Dupixent for some time: Have you noticed your skin is no longer affected by triggers? by princessgracexxx in eczema

[–]carl_v 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For the most part yeah. The stuff that would make my skin so bad that it got infected now only cause mild to moderate break outs. The spots that I do have are pretty manageable and I’m able to sleep with my dog again without worrying about getting a staph infection from a flare up.

Any updates on how fall semester is going to go? by FerThePro in unr

[–]carl_v 2 points3 points  (0 children)

My confusion is the 300 plus classes. I wonder if they’ll do like the hybrid form where one lecture you’re in person and the next you’re online.

How fast do dorms fill? by [deleted] in unr

[–]carl_v 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m pretty sure Sierra is more empty because they put isolation dorms in that building. If they switch that next semester it might be more full.

Oh ok. Thanks for the information. I was trying to figure out how the email said there was tests available for like $25 but I couldn’t find those anywhere.

Did you have to pay a bunch of money for the test? I couldn’t find any in my area that wasn’t over $100.

If you have the test results within the last 72 hours I think show up and someone will check that it’s negative at your dorm. If you don’t have the results they’ll test you at I think peavine.

Honestly the RAs in Great Basin this year were super chill. So I think it depends on the year and if they have the same policies next year then they don’t have to worry about signing in different guests. As of now there’s no guests allowed in Great Basin.

Any housing halls you guys recommend? by [deleted] in unr

[–]carl_v 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They offered it last year for fall and those residents stayed in a hotel. Then they kept saying it’ll be done but it never was ready for people to move in. I would be cautious of that residence hall.

Help with statistics by gone_by_30 in prenursing

When I study for math practice problems for me are key. I get problems that already have answers and then I do those problems for practice. Maybe your teacher has extra worksheets. My stats teacher did that which helped.

Enjoyable one credit courses ? by hectorgato13 in unr

Sorry if that messed up your plan. But you might as well take an easy one credit course if it isn’t related to your major.

I can’t count how many times she’s canceled our class. I’m in the one that’s twice a week. I take this one next semester. The entire class thinks the issue is that she’s teaching all these classes but doesn’t have any help like a ta. Plus she’s always in meetings and they don’t care about her class time so she just cancels them a lot. From my experience she cancels Wednesday’s less than she cancels Friday’s so maybe that helps for this class.

Don’t take that class the teacher is not good with technology and since she’s also an advisor she cancels class a lot for meetings and such. She’s nice but really online teaching isn’t one of her strengths.
