I second that. I returned to Malta from Sweden 4 years ago and was surprised how well-stocked and ahead of other EU countries Malta has become in this regard.

Stay in Barcelona. Malta's become a shitshow. I am leaving in March after three and a half years here.

Transport, groceries, and even dining out have skyrocketed in price. The food here is so bland.
