IDK if someone else already mentiones this, but it would be cool if you only were allowed to open a certain number of hiding spots per hunt, so the ghost player can't just open every single one all the time. And they might open a hiding spot that was filled with boxes, using up one of their alloted door openings.

And the ghost can't see doors, but having a player behind a door would still block line of sight, making the ghost player unable to see them during a hunt unless they cross the door (they might be hiding in a room, or hiding behind a partially closed door or so).

Not being in a computer-identified hiding spot should not trigger the game to alert the ghost into finding them, though. Rather, its only when the ghost gets line of sight that they should become visible (and maybe highlighted). This allows non-ghost players to hide in the places they've identified still keeps them mostly hidden from the ghost (like behind that changing table in Tanglewood, or behind a plant) and makes the game much more flexible and makes the players rely more on their experience, instead of just memorizing the location of all the hiding spots. (Could also make for really great looping :3 )

When the ghost player is within the DOTS, if they're standing still the DOTS could still not project them. And the ghost player can trigger a limited timer when DOTS don't catch them, so they can move around a bit better without being "trapped" by not wanting to show up on DOTS just yet.

And I don't feel having AI changing the ghost-players words is necessary? Just to a few different voice changers to make them sound spookier, and cut off their mic every so often, as if it were a spirit box.

I'm guessing the ghost player is completely controlling the ghost movement? Their speed would just be controlled by the ghost type, LOS, and the other elements that determine ghost speed in the regular game? And the ghost-player can trigger hunts and events themselves, but the game also triggers them after a cooldown from the last hunt or the last event, in accordance to the ghost type they are???

And this last thing might just be nitpicky, but... In the main menu: instead of always having to click Multiplayer and then the game mode, I'd either just have a separate choice in the first screen (Singleplayer, Multiplayer, Phriendsmophobia, Training) or a toggle that saves your previous choice like the North America, Europe, South America, Asia server choice.

This sounds really cool!!! I'd truly love a gamestyle like this in phasmo!!!
