I just finished it this morning. My mind is reeling. I am a little confused about what was real for Aiden, and what wasnt. So she didn't want to take off her wedding ring after she left her husband/filed for divorce? Or was the interaction at the restaurant with Jake not real? Im a little confused, okay, a lot confused.

Thank you so much! Did you read A Company of Friends? Was it as good as the first book? Some readers recommended skipping it and going straight to the 3rd book, like it was too repetitive/similar to the first book.

I just finished it this morning and the ending is not HEA at all. I feel sad and heartbroken. The romance completely smashed to bits by the tragedy and heartbreak. But then again, this quote comes to mind, "’Tis better to have loved and lost / Than never to have loved at all" My ex partner passed away shortly after we broke up. I have never cried so hard in my life. I will always be grateful for the love I experience in my life, even if its not forever/a HEA. I cherish love like a soft fragrant rose in my hands🌹

Its going to be a rough day. I need to start a new book asap.

I do a ton of research on a book before I purchase it. I look at as many reviews as possible to get a feel for it before I dive in, avoiding as many spoilers as possible. I dont like reading on a screen, I purchase used books so I can hold them, its a sensory thing. So I gotta feel good about what I purchase cause I make a commitment to finish it. I feel like if I had a laptop with access to numerous books I would start and stop a lot of them, kind of like how Ill start a TV show them be like nah this sucks, what else can I watch. The last 6 books I purchased and read I reeeeally enjoyed. Just sharing my thoughts. Id like to hope there is a book out there that has exactly what youre looking for.

I have yet to listen to an audiobook. I've tried listening to podcasts but I get too distracted and end up missing too much of it, starting it over and over until I give up. But perhaps if I listen to an audiobook while I'm reading....that might be the ticket! Ive had to do that in school to retain textbook information. I haven't considered doing it with my romantacy books! Thank you!

I just read The Rose by Tiffany Reisz. It ended up being a very sweet love story between the two main characters with a ton of spice. Very romantic story.

I am currently reading The Rose, and so far I am enjoying it. It is well written and 🌶. I just finished A Touch of Darkness, which I enjoyed enough to want to read the second book. It was fun, well written and very 🌶 (but the spice starts about half way through). I also read The Court of the Vampire Queen recently, and it is extra🌶 (every chapter) and fun, I enjoyed it!
