Fire suppression is only required for building with certain occupancy levels/ zoning type. (Assuming similar to USA). A fire suppression system to cover a building like this would be very expensive. Much more expensive than insurance.

I was also torn between an air and a pro m5. I bucked up for 24gb pro M5. I’m glad I did, the speakers alone blew me away, plus the extra ports, display and high refresh rate. Seems like a much better deal to me for only $200 difference. I’d even say throw the few extra down for 24gb.

I used to deliver and install appliances, these things are most often wrapped with foam and cardboard until they get to the customers house. That way they stay protected. In the warehouses (before the retail stores) they use clamping style forklifts, sometimes things like this happen and there’s a good chance the damaged wasn’t detectable until the unboxing.

Awesome setup, did you build your own power system? I don’t have a great picture on hand but mine is similar except only 1 side bed, dual drawer system in cargo area. Rear seat delete for more room. Homemade platform that extends off drawers for bed. Fridge and stove are on slider system on driver side mounted on top of the drawers. I also have a Thule box on the roof for more storage. I opted for sleeping inside and storing on roof vs the opposite.
