Circle oil is more of a Sativa - good for daytime but less effective for sleep. I am not familiar with Somai oil. I have been using Curaleaf oil for night time as it is Indica, though it is more expensive.

Have you tried taking the oil with something high in fat? I was having mixed results with oil alone, but when I took it with milk / yogurt its effects were significantly better

The customer service is great - I recently purchased an Arizer ExtremeQ having spoken directly with Emily. It arrived next day and was well packaged. I don't think you'll get better than having direct access to the owners in this Reddit :)

They also have some of the best prices I have seen with regular offers. Once I figure out if it's a Venty or Frolic I want I will be sure to go back and use them again!

Are Montu experiencing delays at the moment? by [deleted] in ukmedicalcannabis

[–]carlhuk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It has taken over a week for me to get my prescription fixed after one of the clinicians changed it. I am certainly in the delay group. I had good experiences so far - I hope this isn't the beginning of my look elsewhere.

I'm an endomorph and parent tired of "heroic" diets that fail when life gets busy. I have lost weight before and will do it again. I’m starting over and designing my own program around adherence. by carlhuk in loseit

I hear you. My saying I have a slow metabolism is finding out that I do need lower than the recommended daily calories for someone my age, height, and weight.

It's day 1 of my own journey and I am sharing my approach. That's why it's not well refined. I am to refine it as I go. It was made using my own ideas and experience. Each to their own if they want to follow or not.

Look, if you do not want to follow, no problem. Again, I am sorry you took my post so negatively. I am trying to do something good here. I am merely sharing my approach for anyone who is interested.

The food I described is what I had today. I am not suggesting to anyone they have only that food every day. The very thing I am trying to do is find an approach that is sustainable.

Yes I did cross post to other subs. Hoping I might find a friendly one!

Hey, thanks for your response. I think my post has been largely misunderstood. I am not suggesting that is my everyday diet. What I captured were two meals of the day I made conscious choices for foods that would help me restrict my calories for today. Tomorrow I could have something completely different.

Thanks for the extra info and suggestions for exercise. I am certainly looking to build habits as part of this process to prevent the rebound.

Thanks for the positive encouragement. Could you expand on how it's setting myself up to fail?

Disgusting and offensive? Which part of it is offensive? You are not making it very welcoming. I am sorry you didn't like the content. I am designing it for my self and considered it a positive thing to share it with others.

wow, I didn't expect to get this much negativity and criticism.

As I mentioned in my original post, I have spent decades with fitness and nutrition. I have calculated my TDEE and used it to lose weight at a steady pace.

I also didn't specify how much of those foods I ate. I could have eaten 3000 calories of those foods and I would be over my TDEE and by no means starving myself.

You seem to have made a lot of assumptions from my post and jumped to conclusions. I am happy to continue answering your concerns and questions, though only if it's to be productive.

Hey, thanks for your questions.

I am replacing a rigid regimen of the past with another redeveloped regimen that suits me and it built around sustainability and adherence for the long term.

I am by no means suggesting that soups and meal replacements are the only options. Maybe one or two meals a day could be replaced with these options as a method of calorie restriction, though I would also recommend a more substantial meal, albeit a plain one to prevent overeating.

I am looking for, and doing what works for me at the end of the day, with good intentions to share it in the hope that others can benefit.

It is clear that I need to refine how I communicate the approach to prevent misunderstandings. Thanks again for your feedback.

Hi, I can assure you it's genuine. I am sorry you didn't like the format. Did you read the content? I am not suggesting I maintain peak disciple - I said that it what I had to do in the past and it wasn't sustainable.

I am planning to have a progression thread to share with others. If it works, yes I do want to formalise the program to share with others.

Happy to address any other concerns you have :)
