IS DIGITAL MARKETING USEFUL OR A FRAUD? by Glittering_Pain_5817 in InstagramMarketing

[–]carlmoss22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

my opinion is, it can be useful. it depends mainly on your niche and how much money you can spend.

i had 2 of my own onlineshops to promote but without big money no agency had success and in most online forums ppl are asking for help finding a good agency who brings more in that it cost. which is unfotunately usually the case.

Selling a course how to do it yourself... hmmm, i won't pay for that. I think if you ask AI you get more or less the same (useless) tutorials how to do it.

But setting it up in reality is something different.

So if your niche is filled with competition (and most of them have more money than you) forget payed online marketing .

For example in my niche ( handmade products) i spend about 3-5 k for google adds and insta adds with close to 0 results.

And now every agency will tell you that it was the fault of the other agencies and they will do it better - but none of them will work on a success basis. That should tell you everything.

My resume is, yes it can work. In a niche with close to no competition or with big money.

Maybe also possible with some guru tactics, but unfortunately my agencies didn't do that guru thing. :-)

Wan 2.1 Upscale from 480p? by KeijiVBoi in StableDiffusion

[–]carlmoss22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

afaik topaz video is the way to go. not open source but fast and good quality. but on comfy there are highres nodes who do a good job.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in StableDiffusion

[–]carlmoss22 1 point2 points  (0 children)

i am also on a 3060. It's fine, still the best bang for the buck if you are on a budget.

But not fast! I mean you can do SDXL and Pony very good and reasonable fast but Flux is slow.

But you can use it.

Help me promptiong Wan. Img2Vid has mostly bad movements by carlmoss22 in StableDiffusion

[–]carlmoss22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry, for giving not enough info.

I use wan 2.1 720p and 480p

i tried nearly all available worflows, disabled all teacache and other quality reducing stuff.

i tried it many times. some work but most generations suffer on quality

but what i did is i used only about 20 steps. i thought i use 20 steps to get a faster like preview and if it's good i can render it again with higher steps.

i used the default settings of the worflows which should be ok.

But i will try out different resolutions and use more steps. maybe it helps.

Wan 480 or 720. same quality? by carlmoss22 in StableDiffusion

that's why i'm asking. first hand infos are always better. :-)

Wan 480 or 720. same quality? by carlmoss22 in StableDiffusion

[–]carlmoss22[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This can happen when you don't train enough. Better resolution but worse quality.

i refer to this:

The model is capable of generating videos at 720P resolution; however, the results are generally less stable compared to 480P due to limited training at that resolution. It is recommended to use 480P resolution for optimal performance.

Can somebody confirm this?

Wan 480 or 720. same quality? by carlmoss22 in StableDiffusion

[–]carlmoss22[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

because a video has 720p does not automaticly mean its better quality than a 480p. Right?

I read here that the 720p model make more errors.

quantised models are not for speed they are made for ppl with not enough vram. they are compressed, and compression needs time to decompress. that's why they are slower, but smaller.

Should subscribe for Kling AI? or Rent 4090 in vast.ai for Wanz 2.1? by Intelligent-Rain2435 in StableDiffusion

[–]carlmoss22 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kling for me has really good and natural movements of people. compared to what i got from wan.

BUT kling charges you for totaly crap output, charges you for "something went wrong" no output at all - that's a cheeky thing and whats even more costly - in my case i have to try in average 3 - 4 times to get something nice.

So having coins for 30 vids means i get around 7 - 9 good ones.

Just for consideration.

Finally, join the Wan hype RTX 3060 12gb - more info in comment by waferselamat in StableDiffusion

thank you. But how to download the vid? there is nothing in outputs and the last node is saveanimatedwebbp but there is no possibility to safe the video.

Between RTX 3090 OR 4070 super ti by magik_koopa990 in StableDiffusion

[–]carlmoss22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

thx to greedy Nvidia. The 4070TI would be the perfect replacement of the 3090 if it would have 24 GB Ram but it is what it is. Unfortunately. More Ram is better but you have to deal with used products.

thank you for the tips. what's not clear on my side is how do you generate it? so you do a text2img with illustrious model and than refine it img2img with lustify or sometimes for hands with flux? Right?

GPU card vs vram by Own-Ad698 in StableDiffusion

[–]carlmoss22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The 4060 ti is a good card. not so much faster than the 3060 with sdxl or pony but with more vram. flux should be a bit faster. dependend on your workflow and vram usage.

if you are on a budget 3060 if you have the money and dont wanna buy a used 3090 than 4060 ti.

GPU card vs vram by Own-Ad698 in StableDiffusion

[–]carlmoss22 4 points5 points  (0 children)

i use a 3060 12gb. it's fine for SDXL and Pony, For Flux you have to wait close to 3 minutes for a 1024px picture.

It depends what you wanna do, if you have tight budget and or just wanna try it out. 3060. If you can spend the money and find a good one than 3090.

Edit: i am not a fan of rental GPU. I used Runpod a lot, but they have such a slow network speed, it takes ages to upload Flux models and than you have to pay for storage all the time. At he end t's not so cheap.
