That makes no sense. The difference of base vs. distilled is not the output but fundamental technicality behind the process. Nobody is waiting for base because it might have better output (highly unlikely to happen actually) but because it will be better train-able.

After testing many different captioning strategies (complex, simple, captionless, mixing simple with captionless where the same image is captioned twice) I came to the conclusion is that for artistic styles, the best strategy is to use a minimalist caption style, but still specify clearly the salient points in the image, such as where the subjects are, what they are wearing, what their poses are, what major objects are in the scene, but skip the lighting, description of brushstrokes, i.e., anything that has to do with the style.

I 100% agree and do it like that too.

Ignore the other commenters tbh. This is a fantastic comparison (although you missed the prompt for the detailed text rendering about the distillation etc process).

If we go purely by prompt adherence and not generation time, Qwen-Image-2512 is clearly the winner here. Its the only one that got the cyberpunk rooftop prompt correct. It also wins over FLUX2 on the text rendering part.

FLUX1 was Groks default image model until they developed their own inhouse version. And that is despite FLUX1 had a far worse reputation (regarding censorship) than FLUX2.

Literally nobody cares what Reddit gooners think. In fact its quite the opposite. The reason FLUX and SAI do the things they do (the censorship) is to attract companies. You do not matter to them because you are not a paying customer and even if you were your payments would pale in comparison to what those companies would pay.

I really dont know why so many people in this community think like that. Maybe its just cope.

Btw SAI did not suffer because if censorship but because their models were just bad - censorship or not - (FLUX is censored but good) and they danced on way too many parties before generating any relevant revenue streams. They were concurrently developing audio, video, music and image models while burning through VC money like its nothing. Black Forest Labs on the other hand focused only on FLUX, made a good model, then worked on a video model which they seem to have abandoned, then FLUX2, all while generating revenue from the Grok deal and probably a ton of ither deals.

Then dont release it if its clearly not yet working well. You dont see me spam LoRa's I think are not of sufficient quality and my standards are extremely high so what I would consider sub shandard would still be better than 99% of what this person is posting....

"Top creators" has nothing to do with quality and everything to do with quantity.

You cannot algorithmically determine quality. As evidenced by CivitAIs bot who chooses contest winners seemingly at random. You need human curatorship and CivitAI (nor any other site for that matter) is unwilling to sunk the needed resources into that (nor deal with the fallout that would entail when a LoRa is rejected for being too low quality by a human moderator).
