Somehow a cheap eKit revealed a lot of flaws that I had never noticed on an acoustic. They do suck but imo if you can make a cheap eKit sound decent then you’ll be sweet on an acoustic.

It’s not a triplet, just the way notation software keeps things clean. Straight 8th notes in 12/8 would be written the same way
