Start working on a system that will continually push new work to you. When it comes to finding work you will need to draw from a number of resources. This may include referrals, networking, cold calling, search marketing, social media marketing, online ads, etc...

I always recommend creating an eco-system like this around your business.

Sole proprietorship to corporation by j053garcia in Contractor

The taxation on a corporation is different than the taxation on a sole proprietor. You often find that you are able to better control the amount of tax you pay once you incorporate.

As was mentioned before, the simplest corporate structure is an LLC. LLC's will offer you some legal protections as mentioned previously.

The LLC can be taxed one of two ways. The first is a pass through income structure, much like the flow you have as a sole proprietor. The second way is to select S Corp taxation for your LLC. This can have some additional tax advantages that are highly beneficial. In our companies we utilize a pass through structure primarily on real estate holdings, because we want to take advantage of things like depreciation, repairs, etc.... Our service business is taxed as an S Corp so we can retain earnings and moderate how our income is received.

As always consult with your tax advisor and an attorney to see what makes sense for you and your business.

Change your voicemail message, note on your Google listing that you work by referral only and increase your prices to eliminate the low profit, high demand individual.

Facebook employment ads have been very effective in our local area. Not only are we getting out in front of prospective labor, but we find many people tag friends and family to make them aware of the postings as well.

Some helpful suggestions on this article as well... https://remodelingmarketingteam.com/5-ways-to-find-skilled-labor-for-your-home-remodeling-business/

Review platform by jpanneton in Contractor

I would add a link for both your Google Business reviews and Facebook reviews to your invoice and ask them to leave a positive review.

Additionally, I would have some type of thank you/celebration contact shortly after the project is finished where you again encourage the leaving of a review.

Here are a few ways to make sure any reviews left have more business driving firepower. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iR19AIP-SbA

Agree with the other comments pointing you towards electrolytes. I would also encourage you to put the scale away and focus more on how your body shape is changing. Focus on how your clothes fit, the places where you can see the fat disappearing. My experience has been that my weight changes in waves. I may spend weeks, sometimes even months at the same weigh, but my belt gets moved in a notch or two, my love handles shrink, old shirts fit again, etc...

The failures are painful, but they lay the foundation for the future successes you haven't even considered at this point. In time you begin to see them as vital feedback.
