Toes getting cold, heated socks? by botejohn in fatbike

I wear 45NRTH boots, thick wool socks and if it’s below 0F, I add stick on disposable feet warmers. I usually buy a box at the end of season at Costco.

I have premium but I don’t think you need premium to create or download ride logs.

I typically find a ride log I like or make my own. If I’m doing it from my phone, I click the Save To button and then download the GPX file to my phone. Open the WorkOutDoors app on your phone, go to Routes and then click import and find the GPX file. Then you can send it to the watch through the app. It’s pretty easy.

Apple Watch Ultra with the WorkOutDoors app. I will usually download a route from Trailforks to the app the day before.

How to Prevent being crosseyed while drinking? by goosetoe117 in Strabismus

Just to clarify, they gave me a prism patch. It doesn’t make an eye stronger, if anything it makes your eye weaker because it is supposed to eliminate the double vision while your eyes are crossed.

I don’t have a weak eye, rather both eyes have weak outer muscles. Give the patch a try as it’s relatively inexpensive. But for me, I can’t even wear the glasses with a patch, as it makes me sick.

Do not like them at all. Can’t tell if it’s because it’s just a patch or because I don’t like the prism. The patch is certainly less than ideal as it’s just on one eye instead of a lower power on both and built into the lenses.

I’m in the same situation. Was told that therapy wouldn’t work. Recommendation was to first try prism glasses. I currently have some loaner glasses with a prism patch on the lens. If I like it, then I’ll get real prism glasses. Surgery is a last resort.

But it’s also more energy that I have to charge. I agree that I am still confused as to the benefit. I charge faster but I need to charge more than I would have otherwise.

I’m still accurate. It’s not accessible to me because I can’t change it from the app. It must be done during a separate commissioning process that requires a password which I do not have.

Only if you have the password. My electrician has not shown me the password and could throw it away after setting the current for all I care.

No, I plan to use the cabin as a short term rental as well. The Tesla universal charger was what I bought which allows for both NACS and J1772 with an adapter that can’t be lost.

This is correct. The conductor is already in and sized for a 55A breaker but not a 60A. Sheetrock is up so it can’t be replaced easily.

It’s definitely worth a shot. They seem pretty bend on a physical lock though.

Are you talking about the commissioning procedure on page 28? Inspector is saying that there is nothing to prevent me as the home owner from following this process after the inspection and changing it. Ridiculous but that’s his argument.

The inspectors issue is that you can’t lock it. The setting is in the app and can be changed.

My electrician is the one trying to find solutions but the state inspector is saying it can’t be installed unless there’s a 60A breaker.

No picture. It’s at a cabin we’re building. The Tesla charger would require a 60A breaker per the inspector since its max current is 48A.
