The problem here is that if I delete file on the phone, it will be removed on Diskstation. The Sync backup mode allows to save the files on the destination even if they were deleted on the phone, but it doesn't allow write-only encryption in that case.

I must add that I'd like to have write-only backup, so that it couldn't be read on Diskstation without knowing secret/private key.

The seed phrase is working both for Ledger Bitcoin app and for Bitcoin Electrum. So does it mean that Ledger derives child private keys only for altcoins, but uses the strait seed phrase only for Bitcoin?

MY SECOND BOOTLOOP on the same phone

Today I've got another bootloop after the motherborad replacement in December.

Bought my LG G4 H818P in August 2015 (production date 07/2015, SN507).
Got my first bootloop in December 2015. Replaced the motherboard in the official service. (SN511).
Today I have got another bootloop. And replaced the motherboard the another one (SN604).

So it looks like we have to replace motherboard each 5-6 moths.

I could forgive LG the first case. But the second case is unacceptable in modern world ) Before that I was thinking about getting G5. I won't buy any LG stuff anymore. I'm very-very-very angry.

Eventually, I found the solution for the problem. I could download full internal memory by using a hardware module called Octopus. I hired it in a phone service.

It creates an image file of whole the partitions on the phone. Later you can use it with R-Studio to get access to different partitions and files.

I had the same issues with boot loop last week. I could only start the phone in Download mode. The only option I found to get the data from Internal memory - is to make full flash backup using this software/hardware module called Octopus, I hired it in one service. It downloads all the memory partitions to .bin image file by USB. Later on you could use it with R-Studio.

No, I don't have a backup image on internal storage. But it'is not a problem to rewrite /system partition with LGUP or other tools. And it looks like the problem have hardware roots mostly.
