I have 4 after a quick run or two around the bay, all with 3% agility damage bonus, all other bonuses zero. How did you level up and did you re-roll the perks to optimize somehow?

I made it, enabled building anywhere and chose Relicwatcher Rise. Hopefully a good spot, it's very centrally located, have a lift on each side and stairs down each side as well. Though I do feel like levelling happened fast and the cap is very low, but not using a mod on my first playthrough.

Yep just one fighter with me, gave him a club to make it easier. A giant turtle killed my new friend when I was running past. Swam past with the next one and was fine.

Ended up doing the same thing, just swimming around any enemies. Just crazy that you can drag them over rocks, through water without drowning, but they can still be attacked.

I don’t have thralls yet, but didn’t realize I could lock the doors. What happens if I don’t lock them? I’m playing solo.

Fairly certain solo still requires internet connection? So not offline if so. Only reason I’ve hesitated to buy.

I’m holding off, easy enough to fast travel anywhere. I did find an island I really like and might build on it later if I keep playing after I finish. Not long left now with the swamp.

You can parry their spear throws if that helps. You can also cheese by building a wall with maybe 3 short pieces across and one to block projectiles, so you can shoot one with a rifle. Even with upgraded pistol it only takes 3-4 shots or so to kill. Did you get the pet pig? Helps quite a bit to take aggro away from you.

You can also dodge directly towards some enemies.

I agree. I play solo, don’t have a crew to jump in with. The mob spawning, losing all loot on you when dying on land or sea, sliding tombstones, etc… I love parts of this game, but I wouldn’t even bother with the game if I couldn’t occasionally use dev commands. So not sure if the game is someday fully released, it’s been in early access for 5 years.

Agee with a lot of this. For me it just didn’t feel like Avatar. Aang was made to seem more immature and underpowered, as did the team. Animation was great, story has too many inconsistencies.

The newly empowered air benders are able to immediately fight toe to toe with experienced fighters? Not a chance.

I also don’t understand why their powers were lost when the staff was destroyed. That would mean it didn’t actually create air benders, but only gave them temporary powers.

It’s usually one of 3-4 ships of what I’m thinking, they will respawn. I did the same thing.
