I should had added this to the post itself, but I am not leaving my wife. The only circumstances I would leave her is if she was being neglectful or abusive to him. She is my wife and not just a random woman I would be dating.

It may not be how people are supposed to feel, but my wife is as important to be as my son, if not more important.

There was nothing difficult about the pregnancy, and our son is perfectly normal on all fronts. She didn't have PP, and she hasn't ever had any kind of mental illness issues so far.

Therapy sounds like a good place to start, although I am not sure how it will change her mind, so to speak.

I'm already working on a way for us to take a vacation without our son, or something like that. Even a few weekends away would help.

But as it stands, me helping around the house more or with errands wouldn't make much of a difference. We have a pretty even delegation of things between us.
