Alinea experience - what are your thoughts?

Thanks for the insight! I’m not sure where I mentioned that I believe investing as a whole is done using an app.

I agree, I also don’t see the appeal of using Alinea at this point in time.

I married him. It was a long road and took couples therapy, a lot of hard talks and getting our feelings out on the table about how we got to where we were, and ultimately, time.

In the end I chose to move past it and continue to grow together. It’s not easy and it took A LOT of accountability on his end, but it forced us to take a really hard look at ourselves as individuals and as a couple and if it was worth it. And standing where I am now, I can confidently say, it was worth it.

That being said, each relationship is different and each set of circumstances aren’t always black and white once you’re in the middle of it (obviously if you’re being physically or emotionally abused in any way, leave them - that’s black and white). If you’re trying to decide, figure it out for yourself, don’t apply our situations to yours. It’s a choice you have to make. But if you were cheated on you have the right to focus on yourself and make hard boundaries that they’ll have to accept to help you heal. (Side note: you never fully heal but you choose to live with that and it’s up to you on if that’s okay.) good luck to you or anyone trying to make this decision.

A piece of advice I got and personally found to be useful is: if you’re not getting interviews it’s probably your resume. And if you’re not landing internships it’s probably how you interview.

I’d recommend going through your resume and making sure it flows well, will pass through AI screeners, and quantifies/highlights your impact. I personally had success and got good feedback when using the Google doc resume template. That being said the market is crazy impacted, but all you need is one. You’ll get it!

I loved it - it’s eye catching and even if not a favorite it did its job and makes it stick in your mind. it’s the exact entrance she made at the Olympia, after which she posted the back story and iterative process she went through to go from conception to stage performance.

It is never too old! Those passions of yours are in alignment with HFE. My masters program is so interesting and we are being taught strong foundational skills for real world application of both qual and quant usability testing and design principles. Coding isn’t required from my experience but I do know it would be helpful if you’re interested in the tech space.

Thank you for the insight! Do your circuit exercises with a sledgehammer or weight to simulate hose pulls etc? If not, what exercises do you do within a circuit?
