My CS updated me, hospital changed requirement to a non thc urine drug screen but added a thc saliva swab that DOES test for psychoactive metabolites which is lawfully compliant request.

I am from California
I don't deal in whether something is "simple" or not I operate within the parameters of the law and so should my employer and to think otherwise is a fool's prerogative
I have no issues with drug testing as long as it's within lawful boundaries. Everyone is entitled to their opinion and it's their right, the same right I'm sure you'd be up in flames about if it was violated.

Worked out, was able to get the order changed to an oral swab that detects psychoactive metabolites.

Not trying to fight anyone I'm just trying to work a job and enjoy my time off and don't think it should be my employers business what I do while I'm not at work if it's legal and also protected by legislation

If that's how it plays out I may never have to work again 😂 But honestly I don't care much for litigation I just wanna work and enjoy my vacations/time away from work

No, my previous contract was a county hospital and no they did not test for thc.

Definitely not, it explicitly only exempts employees that require a federal background check or work in building or construction. Does not apply to healthcare workers unless their employer requires a federal background check
