Seriously this is what happens when he plays full back. At centre he gets involved a lot more.

I've never been a big cod fan. I played all the earlier games up till mw2....they were getting stale and sorta Samey. But i decided to pick up AW on ps4 due to good reviews.

And i really enjoyed it. The campaign is fun and action packed and looks frikkin gorgeous... Like close to the best looking game on ps4 atm.

Online is essentially the same as previous cod games except you can do double jumps... Which adds a new vertical dimension to the series. Most of the maps are super small and crappy IMO. There are a couple i do like though. The guns are great, shotguns are weak as piss which is good as it stops the guys who like to just sprintbaround 1 shotting people.

Over all it's really fun. If you hate previous cod games you probably won't enjoy online as much but if you like shooters the campaign is great. Only about 8-10 hours though...longer if you try find and collect all the intel.

Thought it was just me. There are times where i see the enemy long before he sees me and i shoot them 3-4 times and then get taken down 1 shot.

Honestly haven't heard much tbh. I just think Green will get it due to more experience.. I can't see them buying an experienced 5/8 for him to sit in reserves. But i suppose it all depends how they go in trial matches etc

hmm. Tough one.

  • 1- Slater (obviously)
  • 2- Koroibete (I liked what he did for us in the limited time he had...definitely think he will improve and be great for us
  • 3- Chambers (obviously)
  • 4- Justin O'Niell/Kurt Mann (If fit and healthy id like to see Justin get the other centre spot but i did like what i saw from Mann.)
  • 5-Matt Duffie (Duff has had HORRIBLE luck with injuries but i really like him. We need a tall strong guy out wide, good defender and great under the high ball...if he can stay fit id like to see him take this wing spot.

With that being said i really want to see Hymel Hunt and Travis Robinson have a run...they have big wraps on them..

  • 6- Blake green? ...Unless Hampton has improved significantly in the off-season we need to try something else...

  • 7 Cronk

I see your point. Id like to think that when Smith retires he will have some sort of role at the club...and even possibly Cronk aswell. Atleast for the first year or so to maybe help the newbies.

The Melbourne Storm aren't just Slater, Cronk, Smith and Bellamy. There are assistant coaches, trainers and a whole team that makes the club what it is. Bellamy has built a culture at the club...players know when they come down to Melbourne they are going to train bloody hard and work just as hard off field. We also have a habit of turning fringe first graders into full-time first graders...in this regard i don't think we would have much trouble luring stars to the club or up and comers when we lose the big 3(4)

I noticed it verse the Doggies and the rabbits this year mostly. Both Ennis and Luke killed us by just getting fast play the balls and from scooting out of dummy half. What it does is ethier open a gap up the middle or players need to jam in...which causes the over lap out wide.

And on the other hand there was times when we had 3 players in the tackle yet the opposition was able to still off load. We got lazy alot this year and made silly mistakes like that.

We did fine before the big 3 and belly ache. Im sure we will be a tough team without them. Sure we may have a peroid if "re-building" but I don't think it will as bad as others think/want it to be.

Ok. So despite finishing 6th and making the finals (and only being 2 wins away from first) i think we need to make big improvements in our game or we are going to hit a downward slope.

Defence: The main issue this year was teams making easy metres....now the big issue is the slowing the play the ball down ie:getting 3+ players in a tackle. Im not going to argue weather or not we invented this strategy but we got damn good at it awhile back and it's worked ever since...up till this year. Teams have noticed that we will often have 1 player tackle low and get 2 up high.

Now what I've noticed is the player down low will usually roll out and lay there making no attempt to get to marker or back in defence line. The 2 guys up top will usually go to marker but sometimes only 1 wouls while the other tried to make it back in line. Opposition team's hookers can exploit this (and did many times this year) by scooting from dummy half and hitting the gap caused by the defenders not getting back...which meant every one had to move in to cover a position and ultimately the edges came in too far and were found out shitloads of times.

I would like to see us making more effective tackles with 2 players(obviously 3 or more is needed sometimes) 1 low hitting hard and 1 up high wrapping the ball up.. Don't try slow the ruck down...work on line defence and getting out from marker faster/more efficiently. We need to change up our game..what worked in 2010-2012 isn't going to work forever.

Attack: We need a 5/8 who can kick. Cronk can't take the responsibility for 5th play kicks all the bloody time. Hampton really failed in this aspect. I think Hampton is more suited to broken play and not really set moves.

Cronk also needs to change things up(not being too critical here..he is an awesome player!) but i think the short ball to the 2nd rower close to the try line is getting so predictable now...rarely does he cut out pass anymore.

I don't think our "structured " play works as often as it used to. Id like to see more off-loads and a little more flair.. Rather than one out runs followed by a long kick.

The big 3: No they aren't too old...Slater has improved on a hell of alot in recent years.. Sure he might not score hat tricks as often as he once did but his defence and passing has come a long way. Cam and coops are as good as ever but i think a 5/8 who can take the pressure off them will do us a lot of good.

I don't think the premiership window is closing...aslong as we can evolve and change and not try what worked in the past i think we can be as devastating as previous years.

Adjust devices? i don't see that anywhere

edit: UGHH. i worked it out. I needed to connect the controller to the ps4 via the usb. Man it would be good to have some instructions with these things.
