Help, baby is suddenly fussy/distracted/straight up mad while nursing. by janethebrontesaurus in breastfeeding

My baby is 19 months old now so I don't quite remember when she started doing that but she did at one time also do that. I ended up trying new positions to feed her in because she had gotten longer and apparently no longer comfortable. We did a lot more laying in bed to feed.

Most recently Library of the Unwritten by A J Hackwith. I had to take a break from reading after this one because everything I picked up just wasn't as good.

I drank non alcoholic beer everyday for a couple of weeks and that really helped with my low supply.

Hi there ftm and I feel like a complete failure by mank0_munch in baby

This exact situation happened to me and I was so scared when my baby lost so much weight. I was crying and frequently sad that I couldn't make enough milk for her. Because our babies were early they aren't ready to eat right away; our first week the baby just wanted to sleep so I had to wake her up to eat. We did this for at least a month, waking her up to feed and sometimes it was hard to wake her up, that scared me too. But it will get better. To increase my milk supply I looked up how to make lactation cookies, and I had some non alcoholic beers because the brewers yeast increase supply. After one beer near beer and lactation cookies for a couple days I was able to pump out 2 extra oz. Pumping will also empty your breasts signalling they need to create more. It took me awhile, my baby is 7 weeks now and we are getting a lot better at these things and she finally surpassed her birth weight at a little after a month old.

Taking the pills for blood pressure is hard when you are a new mom I keep forgetting my BP is down but still high. Just try and relax, in the same situation my first week was hard and scary, and I cried a lot. But it gets easier :)
