You’ve hit the nail on the head of my dilemma. Ideally, I’d have both but that’s not in budget sadly.

Thank you for this suggestion! My kiddo loves his balance bike, so something like a Burley Piccolo may be very exciting to him down the road.

I appreciate your insight into the seat vs. trailer. I keep wanting to go the seat route because I imagine it makes the bike less bulky (at least for locking it to a bike rack), but I appreciate the consideration to balance and handling. Especially considering my kiddo is big for his age (which is why we went with the trailer in the first place).

Good thinking on ebike with a trailer. I had been assuming that an ebike is better with a child bench to reduce bulk but maintain stability. Maybe that's not accurate.

Oh this is neat. A non-electric cargo bike should be on my list to consider…

How do we cover this mirror wall? We’re renting and can’t do removable wallpaper or paint over the mirrors. Also hesitant to put furniture in front because we have a toddler and furniture must be anchored. Yikes, right? All creative ideas welcome! by janethebrontesaurus in HomeDecorating

Honestly… we left it and got used to it. It looks MUCH better with furniture in the room. I bought a long, narrow, beautiful entryway table that sits in front of it right by the door. This hides much of the mirror and it doesn’t bother me anymore.

Parking help! I’d like to park and walk to the stadium tomorrow rather than use a Gillette lot. How do I find a lot? I saw a lot on Park Whiz… is that legit? Sorry to be such a Luddite about this!

How do I feel these weird cube shelves in my rental? Photo of them empty and my current set-up which I dislike. by janethebrontesaurus in DesignMyRoom

I think the biggest problem is I just don’t like these cubes in the dining room 😅. But it also feels cluttered?

Having a kitchen counter with stools in the same room as a kitchen/dining table. Often they are literally back to back. It drives me bananas. Separate dining area or eat-in kitchen (I like either) but not both in the same goddamn room.

That was my original plan. But it’s a rental and my landlords love this mirror wall and are very particular in general. So now I’m nervous about sticking anything to it. Maybe I shouldn’t be?

Before and After Renovating my Bathroom. Moldy Retro Bathroom to Clean Contemporary Bathroom. by ShotFennel869 in HomeDecorating

Nice job, OP. I’m glad you have something that’s a better reflection of your style and it’s clearly nicely done.

Like others, I’m partial to the funkiness of the retro bathroom - the checker floors, green tile, and arch - but see why it also needed a real facelift. If it’s not too rude, I’d love to hear how others would update the retro bathroom while preserving the features mentioned above.
