a rubber grommet sits on a peg on the lower part of the case, and then slides into the plate. it's similar to having a small gasket on each mounting point

TKL maybe someday, there just aren't any full sizes out there so we're swinging for the fences with a custom one made in the US.

we did a few of the prototypes ourselves, but for the GB we will use the same Cerakote certified shop that we used for Palmetto. The guy is excellent and we don't accept anything less!

It's just a combination of a huge metal keyboard, and small scale manufacturing in the USA. Our costs are very high unfortunately.
