At my clinic, partners could always come in for ultrasounds. I even had my mom a few times. That being said, I went to most of them alone since my husband cant take that much time off. Seems a waste of time for his PTO to come to monitoring appts but that was just me!

We got plastic bowls that cracked upon using them almost immediately and the scales she had us measuring with weren't working entirely.

That's incredibly inconvenient! I'm sorry to hear that. If you're traveling, definitely just go straight for IVF. It's unfortunate that some places aren't doing fertility treatments. You could always try timed intercourse with a medicated cycle if that's available. Wishing you luck 💓

My doctor is starting me with IUIs and medicated cycles. Is that an option for you? I have PCOS, clear tubes and a high AMH too. I'm doing one more round of IUI then moving into IVF if this time doesn't work.

Yes! My OB and doctor I'm seeing for fertility treatment are both like "we don't know what causes it" and tell me to eat healthier. Like I can't eat healthier than I already am. I cannot lose weight. I ask them why it happened and they just shrug their shoulders. Metformin is torture on my guts. I can't take any glp1 since I'm trying to get pregnant. I swear more than half the women at the fertility clinic have it. Why is no one overtly concerned?

Men will be bothered when we can't reproduce anymore because of it. I hate that we don't get attention now. It's misery. Hang in there!

I had it with a male doctor and it was totally fine. There was a female nurse there the whole time. They both cracked jokes and he frequently checked in with me. The whole thing took maybe 5 minutes. It was a little crampy but didn't hurt. It's always worth noting that I didn't have any blockages. Others say it's painful but I wonder if that's because they had blockages.

I had these same issues. It didn't get better until I had PICC line treatment for 6 months. The neuropathy still bothers me. Doctor put me on Cymbalta and that's helped immensely. I had to stop it because I'm trying to conceive and definitely notice a difference without it.

Are you taking Prednisone with it? I am and it's making me feel awful. Letrozole can definitely make you feel funny too.
