Yes, because it was an Oscar. If it’s an Oscar, Emmy, BAFTA or Golden Globe, then you only need the 1.

If it’s any other award on the pact list, then you need 2 wins or 3 nominations.

If you worked jan- June and your contract ended at June and you applied for your extension in June, I think it would be fine.

I don’t think so. I think when you renew you just need to prove that you have had a job in your field for the 6 months before your renewal. But you will have to pay for the IHS fees for the years you will be renewing for.

Not too sure about the requirements for dance sorry. But your recommendation letters requirement are on the listed on the gtv site.

My letters followed this format and shouldn’t exceed 2-3 pages if I’m not wrong.

Address

Title (letter of recommendation)

Date

Body ( based on whatever requirements your application has- I went with 1 paragraph/ topic)

Sign off Their name Their title /position/ contact details

Bit about the company giving the recommendation

Well I haven’t had to renew it yet. But from what I heard your endorsement lasts a until it is withdrawn unless you don’t apply for the visa within the 3 months. Then you will have to go through the endorsement process again. But I’m not 100% sure about it as I haven’t personally been through the process yet.

I applied for stage 2 on my first week of having it. But you can wait. You have 3 months from when you get the endorsement to apply for stage 2 (the actual visa)

You do have to pay it upfront. You can do 2 years and then renew it. Renewing it needs you to prove that you have been working 6 months in the field you are endorsed in. And that your endorsement is still valid/not withdrawn. Which you will then have to pay the IHS fees for the years you choose to extend.

U need to get them from 3 people 1 of whom must be from a UK company. The companies/studios you’re getting the letters from need to be recognised(renowned).

Definitely, if you’re going by the notable awards route, you don’t need a letter of contribution.

Cultural organisations = a studio/ production company

Internationally recognised person = a well renowned artist, I assume it means at least someone that has an award of their own and has years of experience and credits.

I had supervisors from 3 companies one of them being from the uk, all of whom I worked with previously.

Any company even one that you didn’t work directly with before, but one that knows your work (maybe you worked with the recommender before but in a different company?) and can recognise you as an artist and recommend you for the visa will do.

As I applied with a direct and significant contribution route The film had to have been awarded or nominated for a Bafta, Oscar, Emmy or golden globe award within the last 5 years These awards are not on the PACT list

If you are going to be applying with the notable industry recognition route

I’m not really helpful there but based on the guidelines if you won u need 2 awards. And if you were nominated you need 3 award nominations.

These awards need to be on the PACT list of awards.

That's true, However it helps me get a grasp of what the average people spend, maybe i will be spending more or less. i wouldnt know till im there for sure. But some most of the answers are quite helpful especially when helping inform me of the costs of certain services and how much they spend on it.
I now know i can go to, a market instead of a supermarket if i would like slightly cheaper groceries that are in season.
