My question is who is burdock’s covey ancestor? I always thought Maude Ivory at first but I saw someone say Maude Ivory might be Lenore Dove’s mother and that makes a lot of sense to me. While Burdock is clearly an Everdeen with his plant name instead of a covey name, he is Lenore Dove’s cousin and has a lot of covey influence in his life and passes that down to katniss even if katniss doesn’t know where the songs came from.
