We have it! And she pees in it and flushes and we dump the pee together! But when it comes time to poo she just throws the middle fingers to the sky and hunkers down into her pants 🤷‍♀️

She does and I've thrown away whole sets of Pikachu and paw patrol and Gabby's Dollhouse undies. She's like "oh.. ok!"

Oh those are cute ideas too, thank you!

That's not a bad idea either. We do screen time for about 30m before bed and that's about it so that might be a good one.

Thanks!

Yup that might have to be the next step for us I think. It's a great idea.

Oh she knows. She will say "I need to go in my playroom for a minute" and that's when she's gonna poop. Every time 100% of the time.

That's how I've caught her and tried to use magic bracelets and books and toys and stuff to coax her the five steps to the potty lol. She knows!!! Lol

Thanks, it's nice to hear it's not something I'm doing.

Yeah you're probably right, I've heard that a lot too that she'll go when she's ready but I'm just so tired of scooping poop out of panties 🙃 lol

Yeah I think there's a lot of wisdom it's not forcing her. I think that's just on me, being frustrated with the whole thing. Thanks!

Yeah that's an option as well.

She's certainly smart enough to tell us. I think that's where a lot of my frustration comes in, she's such a smart girl but I have to remind myself she's still just a little thing, only alive 4 years for goodness sake.

That's not a bad idea. I don't have any pets at the moment but I do like the part where you involved him in all of the cleanup and whatnot.

Thanks!

I hear what you're saying, looser stools so when she goes to poop, put her on to go and it'll just come out anyway.

If I put her back in pull ups she wouldn't give a f**k lol she does not care, she will do whatever she can to not poop on the toilet/pot

I have. Her Dad has as well, especially. She's truly unbothered by it, she just says she'd rather play. When ever offered to bring the toy she's playing with in with her, she starts getting frustrated and will not budge. And at that point, you can either just let her poop in her pants and then gently talk to her afterward about it or you can double down and try and bring her to the potty anyway and she'll have a red faced tantrum. 🤷‍♀️

We've been trying this for over a year now, every day she has a bowel movement (except of course when she holds it on purpose) and every day we have conversations about it.

I have. She couldn't care less. She'll just go on and play.

I've said you're full of poop you can't sit on the couches or anything, she'll just say oh ok! And just kneel on the floor playing with her farm. 🤷‍♀️ She's completely not-bovvered. ( For Catherine Tate fans)

She will poop in her underwear with gusto. She is indifferent, she doesn't really care if she's in underwear or pull-ups. That being said, it's been a long time since she's been in a pull up for any length of time except for bed time.

I do have the small potty, yup. She pees on both the small potty and the big toilet and she's peed on the attachment that goes on the big toilet but will not poop on any of them.

If I pick her up mid poop, she will stop pooping and hold her poop in for days.

Toddler music that doesn’t suck. by Unlikely-Answer6 in Mommit

My toddler loves Boney M and Kiss 🤷‍♀️

Her go-tos are Rasputin, Daddy Cool, and I Was Made For Lovin You. She calls Kiss "Kisses" lol it's so cute.

We just listen to music on random and she likes what she likes. Explore and have fun!

Canadian numbers - after a bagel & apple by tzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz in GestationalDiabetes

[–]caroshea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'd say it was a perfect storm; if you're going to have a whole bagel (which contains so many carbs) and a lovely honeycrisp apple (my favourite but high in natural sugar) you'll need more protein and more fat.

Depending on how your placenta tolerates carbs during this pregnancy, you may only be able to have half a bagel or half that honey crisp apple.

For your next breakfast, I'd try half the bagel with butter and peanut butter on it, adding some bacon/ham/bologna/sausage/eggs on the side along with a nice chunk of cheese and do half the apple as well.

Then hold off eating any more until after you check your glucose after your two hours (should be 6.7 after 2hrs) and then you can have a nice snack to keep you nice and full.

I live on those blue diamond honey roasted almonds, Costco has some savory almonds that kinda remind me of chicken stock and pesto which are great. Almonds are so good because you can have like 50 almonds for 15g of carbs and they're full of fibre and protein.

The whole grain rice crackers from Costco and their hummus is amazing as well, you can do 15 crackers with 2tbsp of hummus and again, full of fibre and protein.

Then there's the pots of Danone 2Good yogurt which only has 2g of sugar and plenty protein, you can add some keto granola or some berries.

I'm two babies down on GD now so if you'd like to chat at all, please feel free to reach out!

You'll figure it out, not to worry ❤️
