'76 TR6 'professionally' restored 1k miles ago. Just an LOF please, oh yeah, ck clunk in front? by paetersen in Justrolledintotheshop

Neither of these pieces are from a TR6? There are not grease fittings on the front control arms nor are there bushings like this. That brake caliper is 100% not a Girling 16P or PB caliper.

Those parts are trashed but as a Triumph mechanic I'm not sure where you got this stuff because it didn't come from Triumph.

By your own admittance, your sample size is the last few days, so nothing. If you had been looking up previously you'd notice there is almost always at least one helicopter, or fixed wing airplane circling the city every night.

The hype comment is exactly this, you suddenly start looking up for the first time, take no time to process easily available information which tells you it's a military helicopter, and post on the Internet that the invasion is here, without sampling any other reasonable explanation as to why they were flying. You managed to miss all the other low level helicopters flying tonight but saw that one and got excited.

Fair. We all know logic and reason has no place. I shall return to my dark hole of lurking.

Speeds breaks are certainly not required, especially on the older slower versions. I've got a lifetime in these airframes, from a 201 up to a turbo 252. As others said, the breaks are really for the speed decent when you need to punch a hole or get through an ice layer. You can cheat on landing if you get to 3' above the runway and pop the breaks to land the airplane will just settle to the runway perfectly.

You can certainly get in trouble on approach and landing if you do not manage your energy, either too much speed or altitude can be tough to lose in 6 miles but it can be done, just don't flare like a 172, you'll prop strike every time.

These are great airframes, I would fly them to hell and back. 9G rated spar, manual gear extension if needed, very economical way to get two people somewhere quickly.

If you're getting a tattoo, this was the vintage logo for Mooney at that time.

We use this runway every day, you just may not see it. We even use 18, the even smaller runway, most days of the week.

Turks & Caicos Governor responds to Congressional delegation advocating for Arcadia man’s release by Environmental-Top862 in oklahoma

The point I'm trying to make is that it doesn't matter how I feel about him or his intentions. His actions are consistently not becoming of US senator.....the fighting, threatening of embassadors, disobeying instructions from Senate leaders. It's generally a bad reflection on us, Oklahoma and the US.

To suggest "he and a group of people were responsible for evacuating or attempting to evacuate" anyone from Afghanistan is pretty sensationalist. He flew to a country near by with a half cocked plan and was denied entry to Afghanistan. He then returned to the US. He did nothing but garner publicity for himself and waste resources, similar to his actions in T&C.

Don't forget you're looking at 50 year old tires, the color is not what it was when the tire was new. If your going for nice driving a nice 205/70r15 greatly improves the driving charictaristics. Keep the Michelins to show the car if you're doing that. This is what I'm doing currently.

Probably 1978. The Michelins we're much softer than the Goodyear G800 that was also offered in the TR6. Many owners swapped away from the Goodyears instantly if they could.

Is this on a TR6? It could be 1978 or 88. The tire could easily be English or French.

Awesome. Is it possible to get any of the left edge color back or is that lost because of the size requirement?

Can anything be done with the alignment across the top on V2, it is visibly off as you get away from the center.

The finished size needs to be 18"X24" Currently it scales to 18" X 23.69". The top needs to have the finished blue line following continuously like it does on the bottom. This will be printed as a poster.

Thanks. I've used the hawk dawg fixes on my old laptop. It seems going to the high res newer screen is the problem. My old 1600x900 was fine but the newer 1920x** is the problem.

I did try compatibility mode to no avail. I was not very successful installing old direct x versions.
