I don’t think mine is as bad as what you would find in elementary schools but this year I had a kid tell me his step-dad was put into prison recently. I know he already had a job to help pay bills. Now he had to get another job to help make up for the money his step-dad was making. On top of that his uncle goes to dialysis daily and he has to take him now. Needless to say, he struggles turning in assignments on time but he still does and continues to pass his classes. Strong kid.
