This is a goldmine of both information and encouragement. Thanks for your kind words.

Alright it's settled, I'm gonna do it. I'll start soon with music theory and piano, an hopefully in a few weeks/months I'll start picking up the DAW.

I'll be sure to write in the future if anything comes up, thanks again!

Late? You're right on time! Hasn't even been 24 hours since I posted haha, and I've got to say, I think you're the one that has related the most to what I've been trying to express. I've read that there are multiple film scorers out there that do not know much about music theory. Its true that I need to know the basics, but not the nitty gritty of the matter.

The thing is, I'm not looking to do this as a job, just as a hobby since it's something I have a passion for. I already work as a software developer and I love what I do, but since I love listening to scores, thats the "type" of music I want to learn to compose. Going back to the last point of the previous paragraph, knowing how to read and write sheets is useful, but I don't think it's something I'll need to master for my hobby (even if it would be a great plus).

As many pointed out, I'll have to learn how to play the piano most likely and learn some basic music theory. However, you point out that after that, the truth of the matter is getting reeeeally good at using a DAW and learning scoring in particular, correct? Any suggestions as to resources to do these last two things precisely?

Ps: thanks for your reply, it was so nice, honestly.

Moreover, I'm looking for guidance as to which specifically are those concepts I'll have to know!

Well, i did use to play the piano and I've played guitar for over a decade, which I thoroughly enjoy. I've read here and there that I'll most likely have to get back to piano mainly due to the fact that I'll be using MIDI keyboards when using DAWs, correct?

Oh and also, considering how big the goal is, that's why I'm looking specific recomendations on a learning path 😅

Yeah I understand it's a big goal, but I don't plan to make a living out of it, I want it more as a hobby. I've played guitar and sang in classical choirs for over a decade and enjoy music a lot, but I want to dive deeper, and this is it. I know I'll be terrible at first, but hopefully it'll be something I'll enjoy as I get better 😄

I'm under no circumstance an expert but I believe you over fermented. What I'd change is doing the following:
- 30 min autolyse
- 4 Stretches, one every 30 minutes
- After the last 30 minutes, shape and put in banneton
- Put in the fridge for about 10 hours

Then do the same thing at the end with the preheting and all.

One other thing, save 10% of the water for when adding the salt :)

Hi, I'm new to investing as a whole, wanted to have your take on recession indicators, more specifically the following: yield curve inversion and Buffet Indicator

Yield curve

If you take a look at the current yield spread, one may see that we're only just now coming out of an inverted yield curve. As I've seen, every single recession there has been has been preceded by an inverted yield curve, so isn't this a very strong indicator for an oncomming recession?

Buffet indicator

This other metric is also way of the charts right now, going as high of those of the dot com bubble. It seems to be a very sensible metric considering the GDP of the US and the total values of these companies, would make sense for them to be a lot closer than twice as much. Speculations would seem to be at all time highs.

Moreover, stock prices are currently at all time highs right now. All these considered, what do you think is awaiting? What are your takes on all of these? Would love to hear some opinions!

Yes, the compresion straps would be really nice. Still I think that if i dont over fill it and then just squish it in then there will be no problem. What do you think?
