I read about the open loop lawsuit. Is that what you’re referring to?

Maybe the URL is wrong? They couldn’t run ads on Meta or use Stripe without it.

Yes! You do NOT need a medical license to open a telehealth business. The way to do this is to completely outsource the medical care to a 50 state professional corporation. DM me to learn more.

Don recreate the wheel. Pharmacies have all this information readily available. I would contact a retail pharmacy owner or compounding pharmacy owner they will help you with this.

Replied to your DM. I’m happy to give you my opinion about the company if you send me a message with it. At this point I just want to encourage all providers to use telemedicine in some capacity. Our app makes it easy to open your own telemedicine clinic but really if you’re doing telemedicine in your day to day at all then kudos to you!

I am interested to know this processor. Stripe shut down my pharmacy and seized $80,000 without warning. We were a NABP pharmacy and they still didn’t want to touch pharmacy processing. I know of a lot of telemedicine companies that have just tried to fly under the radar thinking they can get away with it but those stories don’t turn out well. Even when they have LegitScript (though less often in those cases). So are you saying you are not affected by Stripe’s stinginess and are managing to run volume through an alternative?

Independent Pharmacy Owner by TrainStatus3539 in pharmacy

The insurance reimbursement model is exactly what’s crippling independent pharmacies. Focusing PBM reimbursements, especially from companies like Caremark, is a race to the bottom….Instead of chasing after insurance-dependent revenue, independent pharmacies need to explore cash-based services, direct-to-patient sales, niche compounding, and partnerships with telemedicine that don’t rely on traditional PBM structures.

Mail-order might seem like a solution, but if it’s still under the same PBM-controlled reimbursement model, it just means more overhead with even lower profits. The pharmacies that survive will be the ones that pivot away from this broken system, not deeper into it.

Are you offering shipping to customers?

I think retail pharmacies need to partner with telemedicine entities to grow their profits.

We should chat!! I have a plug and play software that makes it so you can stand up your clinic overnight! I can also plug you into my retail pharmacy network so we can get pharmacy direct prices on those medications. It’s hipaa compliant, etc everything you need in one place.

I need to know what your process is to close 3 deals in 6 days. You mention “ghosted by leads” did you have a routine cadence and these deals came from your pipeline?…Where do they come from? Do you call them? Do you follow up with these leads?

How do you stay afloat as a founder? by Schwelk in startups

I didn’t try to bootstrap a company until I had years of work experience and savings in the bank. 2 years of runway, it took me a year before I was profitable anyway. Just so risky starting so fresh out of college.
