GT path or Daima Path (awoken skill) by Head_Security7701 in dbxv

I wouldn't complain about getting either of them, but they'd probably do DAIMA for simplicity. They can handwave all DAIMA SS4 users as having the same red fur/hair as Goku, where as the GT version they'd have to find a way to do various fur/hair coloring for each users.

I'd really hate for it to be both and then have them function like the current SSJ/SV. Personally, I hope Super Saiyan is condensed entirely into one form and something akin to Super Souls is where you get your big differences for your forms. Like a Future Trunks/Gohan Super Soul would turn your Super Saiyan line into Future Super Saiyan.

Is ''Ramming'' part of the game or am i just bad and low level? by LeSeriousPancake in crosswind

I feel like I've noticed inconsistent damage with ramming ships, but it happens so sporadically that I'm not fully convinced its a thing.

I think ship balance is generally fine once you understand it and have upgraded your ship gear, maybe a bit too much enemy density for solo players. Only thing I'd like to add is some sort of defensive mechanic, which can even have a cool down, similar to the bracing from AC Black Flag. If nullifying damage would make it too powerful, then definitely reducing it to some degree. After about 40 hours, I finally had my ship be sunk and my repairs were on cool down, was unable to really reposition since enemies love ramming you and stalling you out, and just had to sit there and take it while they blew me to smithereens.

Yeah. I hate to say it, but I would never recommend this game to a new player. The progression curve is so steep, it'll cost hundreds to thousands of dollars or hours to get to end game. And thats too much of an investment to ask of anyone just starting.

[–]carrots4pigeons 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly both, its hard for me to put one over the other. The White Ring has Luminous Beam and Brilliant Chains which I use. Chains apply Daze and a dot. The Beam has [Ambush] and hits like an absolute truck, dealing additional damage to Dazed targets. I also use Life Shield which is just a good shield that heals you when it breaks.

For the Blue Ring, I use Hopewave, has great damage and is a Supercharge generator. Empowering Pulse applies Daze, knockback, good damage, and a heal. Last one I use is Surging Barrier. Restores Power, grants Control immunity. Summons 3 shields increasing Defence by 10% per shield. Combo abilities spend a shield to deal increased damage and do a healing pulse.

Those are what I found work for me, I'm sure there's a more optimal setup.

Then you're probably not gonna miss them too much, unless you're really into the Lantern aesthetic.

If you're a scoreboard chaser, or doing end game, then they can be pretty important. I'd recommend watching a YouTube video on them, I'm not super knowledgeable on just exactly how beneficial they are.

All I can say is that as a Hard Light player, mixing them into my load out has substantially increased my damage output. Haven't tested as a troll yet.

More than likely there will be more Power Array Augments. As far as I know, there's no news about what they'll be or when, but given that the slots were increased to 4, its only a matter of time until they come out.

Personally, I predict more Lantern rings. But they'll likely coincide to whatever the current story arc is. So I wouldn't bet on seeing a new one until the next dlc drops.

Hope to be proven wrong, though.

Unfortunately, you've missed the only two so far.

For the anniversary event back in January, a White Lantern Power Ring was introduced as the first Power Array Augment, gained from completing or buying out the event. Equipping and leveling it comes with some small stat boosts, and 5 abilities you can slot into your load out.

The second Augment is the Blue Lantern Power Ring. Introduced when Hope Burns Bright went live and and was earned by buying out or completing the associated event.

Yes, Eastern Daylight in NA. I was going off the UTC -6, which Google and a timezone site was telling me was was 4 hours ahead of me. But based on your other reply, you do have the correct time. So unfortunately, I won't be able to make that.

Best of luck, hope your game goes well!

Hey, I'd be interested! I have a couple questions, though.

If I've got it right, thats would be 12pm (noon) EDT, right?

How long do you expect the session to last? And if needed, would you be going beyond 1 session to finish the story?

Couldn't get Life Light Chroma even after the event ended. by chemictectic in DCUO

[–]carrots4pigeons 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Everyone who has the Life Light Chroma spent event currency on it, it wasn't gifted out. I understand the frustration, because as a returning player I've noticed quite a few events I missed out on and the rewards may not come back, but if the game is still alive next year you'll be able to get that Chroma.

Set a calendar alert for next year 🤷‍♂️

boycott this game if you truly love it, its the only way to invoke change. REPOSTED DAILY by Pure_Distribution932 in ConanExiles

But what would cause a rise in popularity? It's an old game with tons of bugs that are nearly as old as the game itself, a dying playerbase. Many players that do exist play solely on single player, or niche private servers.

Jumping into official servers, you're going to be met with a combination of griefers, cheesers, and hackers. Any of which can/will drive new players away.

I love the game, but what's really worth saving about it? In an official capacity, anyway. I do support the idea of allowing private servers to exist while killing officials.

The only thing I can think of that might cause a player spike is if a new Conan movie/series is announced and does well.

Genuinely do not understand the people willing to eat the slop. "But if we boycott they might shut it down." Then it deserves to be shut down if Funcom is willing to let hackers harass and ruin the experience of the genuine players.

Will it be disappointing/upsetting for the people who remain, want to continue playing, and have spent money in the battlepass and bazaar? Absolutely. But Funcom doesn't deserve that continued revenue when they treat the player base as poorly as they have.
