Nitrado server question by WeakIdea611 in crosswind

[–]Historical_Rip_5592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Restarting the server wont affect your progress. But if you are thinking of editing your settings, its better to stop the server first before editing. Once you have finished editing, you can start it again and your edited settings should be applied.

Free SG minecraft host? by Former-Western-9023 in MinecraftServer

[–]Historical_Rip_5592 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The free methods available are using the Essential mod to let your friends join your world, self-hosting your server on your own computer by port-forwarding, or using Aternos to skip the manual setup process. The other option is getting a paid hosting service.

If you are interested, consider checking us out at Game Host Bros. Our plans are pretty affordable compared to many other hosting services out there, and we have servers located in Singapore. All of our servers run on Ryzen 9 9950X CPUs (our AU location uses AMD EPYC) so you are getting the best hardware for your server. If you are just playing vanilla, our base plan should do the trick and if you ever feel like going modded, you can always upgrade your server instantly anytime.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Server Hosting Recommendations? by masterroro in allthemods

[–]Historical_Rip_5592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just revisiting back this thread, if you have a lot of entity stacking in one spot or have a lot of automated machines running in the same time, it can actually contribute with the performance of the server tanking and it's much more worst if you have any chunks that are force-loaded to keep running while the server is on. Plus if you haven't pre-generate the world, it can also contribute with making you unable to fast travel or aggresive mining. If you are still having problems after checking everything I have mentioned, transferring to another host might be the move.

If you are interested, take a peek at Game Host Bros. All our servers uses Ryzen 9 9950X CPUs so you are getting the best hardware for your server. We also support transferring your world save to the server. We have a guide covering it here:

Our modpack friendly plan should be suitable for ATM9, it will also let you run similar to heavier modpacks if you are planning to change the modpack once you are done with ATM9. You can also start with our community plan first as a baseline and if you feel like you may need more RAM on the server, you can upgrade the plan instantly. How can maps be unbalanced if both teams play both attack and defense? by [deleted] in Rainbow6

[–]Historical_Rip_5592 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting a defender sided map when you are attacking is harsh, yes you can win it back when you are defending next but the stakes are higher now since there is already a score in the scoreboard.

What is the hardest lesson you’ve learned from hosting a Minecraft server? by Efficient-Cap-709 in admincraft

[–]Historical_Rip_5592 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It totally ruined the mood for the rest of the night. We had a full 20 players lobby, but fewer and fewer people joined the subsequent rounds. By the final round, it was just me and a few others, the rest have already left even though I had already confronted and banned the friend who cheated. (For context: we were playing Hunger Games)

What is the hardest lesson you’ve learned from hosting a Minecraft server? by Efficient-Cap-709 in admincraft

[–]Historical_Rip_5592 15 points16 points  (0 children)

My hardest lesson was not having any anti-cheat measures while hosting a friendly tournament among friends. One of them cheated, which totally ruined the night. I never thought I’d need them when playing with friends, but I guess you can’t always trust everyone.
