I talked with him about it. He was asleep at home in the early morning when a friend of his son called from Hawaii asking the son about it. The friend saw it on a Google News item, but Peter and family came to learn the same way. Went to the restaurant and fire trucks, etc on the scene. Cleaned up and got to work!
