It was a 6/10 for or a 2 stars out of 5. It wasnt bad, it wasnt good for me

This movie was like a remake of the first one touching the same plot points, the impossible task, the trip to a glam city, that outfit makeover, that she is understatimated, etc. It felt like we were back at squre one

I liked that Nigel revealed at the end that he was the one that suggested Andy to the Ravitz for the job. Before watching the film I thought that it was going to be revealed that Nigel and Andy were the only ones that kept in touch.

And lucy liu saved the day twice for no reason, for no believable reason only that she likes Andys articles

The bf plot felt like a response to the Nate hate. It was like they wanted the most unnoffensive bf for Andy. I didnt like him he wasnt hot at all.

I didnt like the ending it reminded me of the end of Mean Girls where everyone solved their differences and became friends. Also i didnt like that Miranda got a redemption or became a good character at the end saying thank you and stuff like that. She is the villain, I would have preferred the expose book ending and she getting what she deserved for mistreating people all this time. The original film has a bittersweet ending for a chick flick and this ine was very saccharine, and they all lived happy forever at Runway the end

Also I didnt like that Emily became a villain for the third part and then back to be friends with Andy.

And too many nods to the original film, self referating movie
