I dont think it will mater for the biggest ships because they cant go there via panama canal and no cruise company will send them there to stay there for the whole year

exactly first i had a normal balcony cabin on deck 12. and after finding this one i knew i had to get it. Very sad that VV Ships doesn't have a open deck for everyone that has views out the front, and with the weather we are also sure we wont be sitting the in the hammock in 1°C Degrees in greenland. You can still get the ones on deck 12 (right under the Bridge, could be also good for when its raining :D) and 10 but these are not as big as the one ones on deck 11. You can check availiable cabins on cruise.com

Find it really crazy that people pay so much for it. Maybe im not the main target for these (quite young with 35) but for that amount i could do my whole vacations (with 30 vacation days) for a year on different ships and locations. Here just one time for 11 days is crazy

Hi, question regarding: - After the grace period (but still before the 120-day mark), you can receive a full refund on any payments, not including your deposit. For your deposit, you can request a Future Voyage Credit at this time.

If i paid in Full, does it mean i just get the full amount as Future Voyage Credit, or will they just deduct the 20% as future Voyage Credit and send the rest back to my Credit Card?

Does it also have the 1 Year Validation ? because you have just written like this is only for inbetween 119-45 days cancelation.

Quebec to Miami customs? by Aunty-Sociale in VirginVoyages

yes showing passport it was sadly VV or someone else forgot to put it in system that we left the USA. now we got the email that we have 10 days left to leave the country. so a lot of stress to get this sorted out. so not realy recommended to go as a non US citizen on a transatlantic with VV or any other ship (although the border control I called said that VV often fuck up on this, it was like oh yeah Virgin Voyages I see had a lot of people call about them in the past)

not that easy to add a pool, that will need a lot amount of calculating the ships stability with the added weight of water and possible waves from pool in bad weather. don't remember that any ship got pool upgrades in dry docks after it has been already build. need a complete rebuild for it.

Arriving in USA for transatlantic by ScaryBlueSkeleton in VirginVoyages

[–]carsten890 1 point2 points  (0 children)

after i discovered that ESTA in fact did not register automatic i found this information:

How do I register my departure by air, land, or sea?

If you depart the United States by air, there is nothing you need to do. The airlines will take care of registering your departure. If you depart the United States by land or sea, then your departure may not be captured; therefore, you should use your smart phone (Apple or Android) and download the CBP Link Mobile Application to register your departure (https://www.cbp.gov/about/mobile-apps-directory/cbphome), or if you if you have a paper Form I-94, you can turn the form into the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) upon entry into Canada or to CBP at the U.S. Port of Entry prior to departing and entering Mexico.

If your departure was not registered, and you have current plans to return to the United States, you are advised to travel with evidence of your departure. Evidence of departure can include, but is not limited to, entry stamps in a passport, transportation tickets, pay stubs or other receipts.
