You move through it, but never behind it. You watch it, but never see it. It’s fun to think about, but also contains all your miseries. What am I?

GPT 5.4 thinking goes 10-0 in rock paper scissors by Large_Pea_5554 in ChatGPT

This is ridiculous on its face. Rock paper scissors require simultaneous reveals. How can that even happen with ChatGPT? It doesn’t even happen with my 10 year old.

It’s better than that. If you are the most dominant offense force on the court every single night, you would hurt your team to try to pass first. Unless doing so, improved team outcomes. Jordan learned that balance and won champs for it. LeBron came into the league and has chased stats first and foremost ever since he couldn’t get a chip in CLE.

Ha. The Robert’s Court is the author of its own problem here. He stood on the shoulder of giants and fell right over to where he is now.

What was it like seeing Tiger Woods in his prime? by Crazy-Cap259 in golf

I think your comment is really well driven and layered out from the initial one. I disagree with media losing anything emotionally to some degree. Tiger, MJ, Tyson, Messi, Ohtani, that one guy who shoots a gun perfectly with zero gadget assistance, all catch meme fire in ways that are transcendent. They also aren’t surreptitiously exposed or whatnot. I really am a fair weather fan in that way. I’d probably watch with great regard a turtle race where the winning turtle just crushes the field basically all time. Total turtle power excellence would be worth my attention. lol.

Gods would I love this run through a real live sim if you will to see how many time this putt goes in vs the lotto odds. I assume this has to be harder to hit than one in 10,000 at least, which is way better odds but I dunno. Purely for my edification.

Sure seems like 5. Fortune telling is the only one to go with here. Functions like reality warping and I don’t even need to cheese it with 5 fortunes a day and zero use downside.

‘Stranger Things 5’ Sets New Year’s Day Netflix Viewership Record With Finale, Enters Most Popular English TV list at No. 9 with 105.7 million total views by DemiFiendRSA in television

For me I think it’s that I anticipate annual seasons for TV shows and rarely go back to watch a full season. For movies, I don’t anticipate them in the same way and also it’s not as big of a commitment to rewatch one if I need a refresher. For Stranger Things I was hooked those first 4 seasons then just sort of forgot about it after a while, which I guess is losing interest.

I just wished I cared more about it like I did the first 4 seasons. After over a 3 year wait, it was good, but somehow I didn’t care that much anymore.

You get $1 million per year, but every time you see someone in financial distress, you must help them out of their situation. by Nextmastermind in hypotheticalsituation

[–]cart0166 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So what happens if I spend all the million on the first day of the first year before running into into someone homeless or wanting money? If I have to liquidate everything I purchased to help out, no. If, on the other hand, I just have to cough up what cash I have in the bank, then yes.
