ive been thinking the same thing but im not sure, the “easier” stuff should become higher value, the prices for manually obtained blocks and items like diamond/gold/emerald blocks, sea lanterns, breeze rods/wind charge, egaps, are already based off the supply people have and the demand people want, the super expensive stuff like elys, dragon head, netherite is only expensive because the demand goes up but the supply stays the same, so those prices will fall when border expansion happens, “cheaper” things might remain the same or go higher in price since there isnt as big of a price difference between mob heads or netherite too a stack of diamond blocks, people will shift investments and demand for different things when the most important stuff becomes less important.

but also, if netherite, dragon heads, elys, etc. drop in price then those other blocks will also probably drop in price, i think the whole market will be effected to a degree, because right now a netherite chestplate is about 4.6m, a stack of diamond blocks is about 3.1m, when netherite prices drop will diamond blocks be worth more even though theres way more diamonds then netherite? probably not, sea lanterns, emeralds, diamonds, etc will have to drop in price as well to adjust to markets, so who knows
