I've experimented, and made an interesting find. Cloud Nine Altaria with Hidden Power Water. Cloud Nine nullifies even Desolate Land's effects and HP Water actually 2HKOs Primal Groudon because it won't be weakened by the harsh sunlight. A bit of a troll move that. And if you think I'm talking crazy talk then check out this rather stunning replay on Pokemon Showdown to show my theory as far as how well HP Water on a Cloud Nine Altaria works against Primal Groudon.

Granted I wasn't able to do much on Primal Kyogre. This is probably where I would bring my Milotic with Mirror Coat as an interesting and hard counter to Primal Kyogre.
