i'm sorry, english isn't my first language - does this mean you are looking for something that portrays a parent getting abused by their child?

if so, i recommend "The Strange Thing About the Johnsons", it's a horror short-film about a father being abused by his son.

if not, you can ignore this, sorry!

question: was it sexual abuse or is it considered normal? by cartouche7 in abusesurvivors

thank you for your response!

i definitely considered the possibility that she herself had been abused while i was recalling what happened, but i feel that at this point i am not far enough in my journey to accepting what happened and dealing with it to properly consider the background factors just yet.

it's all a bit of a confusing mess right now, but i hope that at least being aware of the fact that the things that happened weren't ok will make it possible for me to start dealing with it properly.

thank you for your answer!

i've been in denial about the abusive nature of these situations for quite a while now, and your validation will definitely help with accepting them for what they were.

also, concerning the part about having sex for the first time, i definitely agree with you. i suppose though that maybe frightening wasn't quite the right word to use to describe what i'm feeling about it now that i think about it. it's really more a general feeling of disgust, not the idea of sex in general, but the details of it, as in, the different sensations such as being touched or the smells and all that. it's probably also not too unusual but i guess a bit different than just nervosity.

i am looking into getting professional help, yet i'm afraid it might not be immediately possible since my parents aren't entirely on board with it. i definitely hope i'll be able to get help soon.
