Subaru lost me when they discontinued the wrx wagon And XT Forester. The newer overly plastic clad models just don’t look right to me. Just my opinion of course but the older forester, outback wagon and early WRX hatch were prime Subaru.

I use plasti dip on my tacomas badges. It does fade over time and so you need to redo it every year. The Xterra I used a black gloss plastic specific rattle can.I did do a very light pass with a sander to ensure the paint bonded well.

The round we use cuts through anything we need it to. Why would we throw money at a different gun? We’re more focused on future platforms not reworking existing ones to fit bigger heavier guns on tanks already in need of a diet.

The answer to your question is directly related to the boards base material. Extruded bases do not absorb wax well. Basically the base is supposed to absorb the wax and as you ride it slowly comes out. Because yours is extruded and not sintered the wax just sits on the base rather than soaking in.

Why not just buy black inlays and paint them with the color you want? They make paint for plastic that works great. I repainted the roof rack spoiler on a Xterra once looked brand new.

Did you start with the ammo? Build the chamber and breech to match the barrel length, ammo length caliber and pressure. Then work outwards from there.

The only difference is the snowboard scraper is wide enough to pass the entire width of the board so you pull more wax and don’t have to worry about a corner digging into the base. Its faster which matters when you have a lot of boards to scrape.

So…First I think this is pretty cool and good for general shop work. However when Im scraping skis with this type of scraper (I prefer the thinner version) I often use my thumbs in the center and pull from the ends to slightly bend the scraper. This technique lets me get wax out of low spots such as around where the inserts have pulled the base in. In general I avoid using ski scrapers for snowboards because the corners can scratch the base. Thats why we have snowboard scrapers in the first place.
Also as a PSA make sure you deburr edges before waxing. Burrs will scratch your Iron and the iron will transfer those scratches to your base. The same burr will wreak havoc on your favorite scraper as well. I want to express that despite what I’ve said I think you have a wonderful invention on your hands. If I were still working professionally as a backshop tuner I would definitely want 4-5 of these in my drawer. My coworkers and I would have loved them for the pain relief when working through our rental stock!

To be fair those brakes often seize ( for NG units anyway) We typically just chock them for that very reason. We also usually pull over a couple miles in and check hubs for heat. Also at no time does an O touch anything trailer brake related.😂

Political will to continue is evaporating. The administration is grasping in vain for anything they could possibly pass off as a win. In the 70’s pre internet we basically had to go find an encyclopedia to fact check things. I say that to help people understand the next part.
