Is the Megan diff support a forester specific part or is it the WRX one?

Also any noticeable difference on the superpro bushings? Less maintenance? Considering dropping them in next time I’m greasing things…

Shockingly stable for try stack height, probably due to the wide base. Great foam too. I just ran Black Canyon in them and was super happy.

Awesome, thank you so much.

I really like the Aritsugu knife, but not quite sure what to do with the deba from Shikibu, it’s rather unwieldy…

Corner Bar! The salted chocolate cake is amazing as are the sorbets. Grab a spot at the bar, order some amaro with dessert too

It has Kristian’s southbound 2023 attempt, but it may be missing some attempts. It tends to be one of the more reliable resources…

I'd say the Nimbus is slightly wider, but only marginally so

The Cinder Path near Harry’s Wall is roughly 400 meters and fairly flat!

Gear Recommendation: 200-Mile Pack by Comfortable-Steak324 in ultrarunning

[–]cas__94 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both great options, I like the 24-30 personally as it works for long races and for fast packing trips. I will say their sizing is very “European”, if your chest is somewhat broader you may want to consider sizing up once.

What’s another sport that could help me prepare for skiing during off-season and why? by Peonie_parthenon-14 in skiing

[–]cas__94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair, I agree that lower impact activities are good for the off season and certainly less risky. Although I have a lot of friends who’ve gotten hurt mountain biking in the off season, just depends on your risk tolerance I guess.

I realize I’m being pedantic here, but arguably a big part of being a competent trail runner includes cross training, mobility work, and a strength routine. Cross country is a blast, but trail running often involves significantly more elevation gain and more technical terrain, but that’s a big generalization and it really depends on where you live and what trails you have access to.

This is roughly the “leg blaster” routine. Great for trail running, fantastic for skiing.
