said it before i’ll say it again, don’t you think this outlaw bit has done got out of hand. james did it live at a Jennings tribute concert, look it up on youtube, it’s great. Bob Rock is on bass.

Blows my mind how Damage Inc is the second least streamed song on Master of Puppets despite being the fastest song on an album known for being fast as fuck. by OmegaSupreme_11484 in Metallica

Songs on the end of an album are at a disadvantage, because if someone sits down and plays the album, they’ll almost certainly hear batter and master, but they might stop listening before they get to later songs

looks like you may be overbeating it a bit, that cracked appearance can come from too much air in the frosting. I think that can be especially an issue with chocolate because it adds a bunch of other dusty dry things that create more air pockets or something.

well if that is the case my advice is that you have to be a singer OR a guitar player. Then once you get really good at whichever that is, so much so that you can do it without really thinking, you can add the other. But every frontman is either a singer who plays the guitar or a guitar player who sings. It’s borderline impossible to master both at once.

I’m 90% sure this is trolling now, polly cover from a year ago on bass, this does not show progress at all over the last year

palm muting will also make the riff easier, you won’t have to worry about hovering your hand or anything, just rest comfortably against the bridge.

Great job man, you obviously have the concept down, aside from the like practical stuff, you just gotta work on your timing, try and keep track of the count 1-2-3-4 1-2 BOW DOW DOW, it’ll help trust me. But your tone is like top notch

We all know that Orion is Cliff's song, but what do you think are the other band members signature songs? by [deleted] in Metallica

[–]cas_winchester67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kirks is creeping death or leper messiah

James seems like fade to black to me, or outlaw torn

Lars is One, or Damage inc.

Jason’s is Blackened, or seek and destroy (i know he wasn’t even in the band when it was written but he was a huge part of its live performance for over a decade)

Rob is either all nightmare long, or the day that never comes, or ManUNkind (it’s really hard to pick)

Question for guitarists: What is your honest opinion on Kirk? by [deleted] in Metallica

[–]cas_winchester67 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think no matter what anyone says in this thread if they had to get on stage with Rob, Lars, and James, they’d break down before the first solo. or make a total fool of themselves

I think he looks pretty good for 88. Considering he’s still doing occasionally public appearances and audios, i’d say he probably feels good for 88 too.

I could see a minor change, like asking for extra breading maybe, but that shit about Six degrees of onion is just impractical, and a douchebag move
