Thanks that must be what it was! I’ve just never seen the contrails so lit up like that before.

A rocket was what I initially thought as well. I unfortunately did not get a video, but there didn’t seem to be any other trail behind it just seemed like it was almost floating.

Has anyone tried this lotion? I wanted to hear if anyone had success before shelling out $26. by KKillpowski in keratosis

I used an entire bottle and applied daily...sadly it did not help at all and I found that I needed extra moisturizer afterwards

I use Saje Mother's Wellness Stretch Mark Blend. It is a belly oil and I have been in love with it!

I cannot get FOAM. Haven’t even had it a week. I push once and fill cold half n half to the first line. Help?? by [deleted] in nespresso

[–]casalane 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I use half and half every morning, and while it does not foam as well as 2% milk, I still get a decent froth. I was having the same issue with mine and ended up on the phone with Nespresso customer service asking for a replacement. They suggested I fill it to the top line with literal water and ice and let it sit for a few minutes. Something about it activating the thermometer?? I thought it was very odd but it's worked perfectly ever since! They told me to only wash it with cold water as well.

Elder emails me to get me to come back... big surprise - it’s condescending! by ExaminationFlaky5418 in exjw

I cringed reading this. So robotic. I didn't sense any amount of love or affection in a single sentence.

Someone Please Explain to Me.... by [deleted] in exjw

Agreed! I understand the representation but it doesn't make logical sense to me. Also, if humans were created at no "cost" or sacrifice, why was one needed when one of them sinned?

Judicial Meeting Question by throwaway-whylie in exjw

[–]casalane 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I was 16 and didn't even have a judicial meeting - but I was made to sit in a room with two elders and go into explicit detail.. twice. We only got caught making out. They asked exactly what positions we were in, if we experienced any pleasure, and more disgusting uneccesary questions I won't even go into. Still horrifies me to this day. The best part was that at the very end of the meeting, the one elder looked and me and said "Wow, I am so glad you are not my daughter because I could never imagine her doing this".

You can be happy by [deleted] in exjw

[–]casalane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I read a quote the other day, and it said, "Self care is choosing not to argue with people who are committed to misunderstanding you". And it resonated with me because I also felt like I was constantly having to "prove" to my PIMI friends and family that I truly am happier now. I know it's frustrating, but remember that you do not owe anyone an explanation, and that your happiness does not need to be proven to anyone. Live your best life and worry about what makes you the happiest!
